Celebrating Leadership and Excellence Philanthropic visionaries Rob McEwen, CM (MBA ’78, Hon LLD ’05) and Cheryl McEwen (Hon LLD ’19) fuelled a new level of transformation at Schulich with their donation of $8 million – one of the largest gifts ever received by the School. In honour of their incredible support for the next generation of responsible business leaders, the Building was named in honour of their remarkable support pledged in 2017.

The MBA Class of 1968 celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the School (pictured above) by reuniting as a class at the 50th Anniversary Gala, held at the Four Seasons on May 27, 2016. Inspired to stay connected, the MBA Class of 1968 came forward with a collective gift to Leading Change. In honour of their support for the future generation of leaders, the elevator in the new McEwen Building was named The MBA Class of 1968 Elevator.
