THE EDWARDIAN GAZETTE Message from the Headmaster Dear Parents and Community Members Friday was the last day for all our year 11 and year 13 students. On behalf of the College Community, I wish all students every success in their public examinations. Students must have a carefully planned revision schedule for the ‘holiday’ period. I would strongly advise that all internet social sites are switched off during this period. Please note that the year 11 and year 13 Graduation Ceremony now commences at 7.30 (not 7pm as originally advertised) Friday 8 July. Happy Easter I wish all families a very happy and spiritual Easter. I trust that you will have a magical break. Students are due back at College on Monday 2 May in winter uniform and are due to change into summer uniform on Monday 9 May. However, if it is hot, we will change during the first week back. I will keep you advised. Educational Trips Abroad The importance of international exchanges and educational trips abroad cannot be over-emphasized. Currently we have 3 initiatives either in action or about to commence. They are: · · ·

Year 12 IB Strasbourg European Parliament trip. The students left Malta on Wednesday. Year 10 French Exchange students will leave for France on Saturday 16 April. Year 9 Comenius Exchange to Bulgaria commences 28 April. Students return 9 May.

We wish students and staff every success and enjoyment on these trips.

Michael Chittenden Headmaster
