A BUNCH OF SUCKERS: After seeing the riots in nearby Vancouver after the Stanley Cup hockey finals, the city of Victoria, B.C., Canada, was dreading the celebrations on Canada Day: 30,000 revelers were expected in the Inner Harbor area -30,000 young, rowdy, drunk people. When the day came, police moved into the crowed with lollipops, each emblazoned with the Canadian flag. And the crowd loved them. The cops and other city officials did too: there was no serious violence. "It's hard to yell if you've got a lollipop in your mouth, " explained councillor Charlayne Thornton-Joe, who helped to hand out 12,000 suckers. "They were invariably polite once the lollipops were presented." But local bars say candy giveaways won't become a regular tool to calm down drunk customers. "It's kind of cool and a good way for council and police to build relationships," says publican Scott Gurney, the head of the Victoria

Bar and Cabaret Association, "but for bar managers and owners there are, unfortunately in this day and age, always liability issues." (RC/Victoria Times Colonist) ...Selling people alcoholic beverages until they are drunk: good business sense. Giving someone candy to reduce violent tendencies: a liability issue??? DRIVERS WANTED: The Community Service Patrol in Anchorage, Alaska, picks up people for a "sleep-off center" where drunks can, well, sleep it off in safety. As their van sat on the street to pick up another passenger, a taxi pulled up, and the passenger got out, got into the van, "revved the engine and took off," a police spokesman said. The driver took it the wrong way on a one-way street, causing traffic to scatter and flood 911 with panic calls. He then hit a tour bus, continued on despite a flat tire -- and stopped in front of a bar. A witness flagged down police and pointed the driver out, and Donny H. Weston, 35, was charged with vehicle theft, criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident, driving while intoxicated, driving without a valid license, and reckless endangerment. The passengers in the back? They had no idea that anything was out of the ordinary. (RC/Anchorage Daily News) ..."Yeah," one said. "He drove just like we all do." NO PARKING: Arturas Zuokas, the mayor of Vilnius, Lithuania, has found a solution to the city's ongoing problem with illegally parked cars in his city. "Mayor Zuokas wanted his message to be loud and clear that the city will not tolerate brazen and disrespectful behavior by drivers who disobey parking rules," said his spokeswoman, Irma Juskenaite. "The mayor hopes that he will not have to repeat his performance," she said, "although he says that he is prepared to do so." The "performance" came when Zuokas drove a tank over an illegally parked Mercedes Benz. He then posted the video on his YouTube page, along with his identification of other illegally parked high-end vehicles. (MS/New York Times) ...It's definitely more of a deterrent than a ticket.

Croatia ( part1 ) Currency: Kuna (HRK) Capital: Zagreb Official language: Croatian Area: 56,594 km2 Population: 4,290,61 Religion: Catholic 89% National Sport : Football The name of Croatia derives from Medieval Latin Croātia, from Dux Croatorum ("Duke of Croatians") attested in the Branimir Inscription, The origin of the name is uncertain, but is thought to be a Gothic or Indo-Aryan term assigned to a Slavic tribeThe area known as Croatia today was inhabited throughout the prehistoric period. Fossils of Neanderthals dating to the middle Palaeolithic period have been unearthed in northern Croatia, In the early 7th century the Croats arrived in area of present-day Croatia. They organised the state into two dukedoms by the 9th century. Much later, the region was settled by Liburnians and Illyrians, and Greek colonies . In 9 AD Croatia became part

of the Roman Empire. Tomislav became the first king by 925 AD, elevating Croatia to the status of a kingdom. The Kingdom of Croatia retained its sovereignty for nearly two centuries, reaching its peak during the rule of Kings Peter Krešimir IV and Dmitar Zvonimir. Croatia entered a personal union with Hungary in 1102. For the next four centuries, the Kingdom of Croatia was ruled by Sabor (parliament) and Ban (viceroy) appointed by the king. The period saw increasing threat of Ottoman conquest and struggle against the Republic of Venice for control of coastal areas. The Venetians gained control over most of Dalmatia by 1428. In 1527, faced with Ottoman conquest the Croatian Parliament elected Ferdinand I of the House of Habsburg to the Croatian throne. under condition of providing protection to Croatia against the Ottoman Empire. Following the decisive Ottoman victories, Croatia was split into civilian and military territories, with the partition formed in 1538. The military territories would become known as the Croatian Military Frontier, directly controlled by the emperor. Ottoman advance in the Croatian territory continued until the 1593 Battle of Sisak, the first decisive Ottoman defeat, and stabilisation of borders. During the Great Turkish War (1667– 1698), Slavonia was regained but western Bosnia, which had been part of Croatia before the Ottoman conquest, remained outside Croatian control.

The present-day border between the two countries is a remnant of this outcome.Serb migration into this region peaked during the Great Serb Migrations of 1690 and 1737–39. Between 1797 and 1809 the First French Empire gradually occupied the entire eastern Adriatic coastline and a substantial part of its hinterland, ending the Venetian and the Ragusan republics, establishing the Illyrian Provinces. In response the Royal Navy started the blockade of the Adriatic Sea leading to the Battle of Vis in 1811. The Illyrian Provinces were captured by the Austrians in 1813. This led to formation of the Kingdom of Dalmatia and restoration of the Croatian Littoral to the Kingdom of Croatia, now both under the same crown.During the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 Croatia sided with the Austrians, Ban Josip Jelačić helping defeat the Hungarian forces in 1849,By the 1860s, failure of the policy became apparent, leading to the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867 and creation of a union between the crowns of the Austrian Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary. The treaty left the issue of Croatia's status to Hungary, and the status was resolved by the Croatian–Hungarian Settlement of 1868, when kingdoms of Croatia and Slavonia were united. The Kingdom of Dalmatia remained under

Austrian control, while Rijeka retained the status of Corpus separatum introduced in 1779. After Austria-Hungary occupied Bosnia and Herzegovina following the 1878 Treaty of Berlin, the Croatian Military Frontier was abolished and the territory returned to Croatia in 1881. Renewed efforts to reform Austria-Hungary, entailing federalisation with Croatia as a federal unit, were stopped by advent of World War I In 1918, after World War I, Croatia was included in the short-lived State of Slovenes, Croats, and Serbs that declared independence from Austria– Hungary and co-founded the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The 1921 constitution defining the country as a unitary state and abolition of historical administrative divisions effectively ended Croatian autonomy. The new constitution was opposed by the most widely supported national political party— Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) led by Stjepan Radić. The political situation deteriorated further as Radić was assassinated in Yugoslav Parliament in 1928, leading to the dictatorship of king Alexander in January 1929. (cont... next month)

Method:

by Jan Morley At Christmas time we are always looking for new ideas to capture the flavours of the festive season. Here is a brilliant recipe to try as an alternative to the traditional mince pies It is very popular with those who prefer not to eat too much pastry . Ingredients : MINI MINCEMEAT BAKEWELL TARTS PASTRY - 375g plain flour - 115 unsalted butter , cold - 110g lard, cold - 75g caster sugar - ice cold water for mixing - Pinch of salt FILLING - mincemeat - 150g unsalted butter , at room temperature - 150g caster sugar - 3 medium eggs , beaten - 50g SR flour - 100g ground almonds - 1 tbsp flaked almonds - Few drops of almond extract - Makes 30 to 36 tartlets

1. To make the pastry, crumb the flour, butter and sugar with your hands until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs OR throw the ingredients into a food processor until the same result is achieved. 2. Add the water and mix until the dough comes together but be careful not to add too much, or to over work the pastry or it will become tough. Leave to rest for 20 minutes, and then roll out thinly, and cut discs to fit the bottom of your muffin tins, Heat the oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. 3. Put a teaspoon of mincemeat into the bottom of each tart. Cream together the butter and sugar. Then gradually add the beaten eggs and almond extract. Fold in the ground almonds and the sieved flour. 4. Carefully spoon the mixture over the mincemeat. Sprinkle with flaked almonds, and bake for a further 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and springy to touch. Sprinkle with icing sugar. 5. They keep well in an airtight container for almost a week . Can be frozen.

Enjoy!

So you wanna lose weight? 1. DON’T BELIEVE THOSE FAD DIETS! DIET PILLS ARE GIMMICKS! 2. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! Unless you are 4ft tall, a 1,200 calorie a day diet is DANGEROUS and won't work in the long run. 3. Calculate your BMR. Do a google search. A good calculator would ask for your age, height, weight, and activity level. 4. Eat healthy and eat about 500 calories a day less than your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Your BMR is how many calories you need per day to maintain your current weight . 5. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism up. Each meal should include fruits, veggies, water, and protein. 5. Drink at least 64oz (8 8oz glasses) of water a day. No soda (that includes diet soda). 6. Do light/moderate cardio 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time. Running, bicycling, and swimming are great for this. 7. Do some strength training to make sure you lose fat and not muscle. Don't worry; you won't look like the hulk if you lift weights. 8. You should lose about 1-2lbs per week. If you lose more than that, chances are the rest is stool, water weight, or even muscle mass . 9. Weigh yourself only once a week at the same time (ie every Friday morning). Your weight fluctuates a lot during any 24hour period because of water and food intake and also bowel movements. Be patient and be smart. If you follow this guideline you will be very happy with your results.

Is the Internet a reliable source of information for health? It’s been said that 70 to 80 percent of healthcare is self-care. But when healthcare turns to medical care—when disease arrives—it requires information most of us don’t have. Today, ordinary people can find information online that they could never reach before. So smart web users are increasingly becoming e-patients: empowered, engaged, equipped and enabled. Recent reports suggest that 80 percent of online adults turn to the Web for health advice and information, and one in four chronic- disease patients goes online to find others like themselves. It makes sense: We go online to learn about far less important things, so it’s natural to do so when a family member’s health is at stake. Clearly, people are learning to find what they need online. the problem is, how do you filter the gold from the garbage? Answer: turn to professionals. This suggests that “paging dr. Google” doesn’t replace professionals, it supplements them. Beware, not everyone online is trustworthy; it is suggested that up to 50% of medical / healthcare information online is unreliable. So yes, feel free to research your family’s health— after all, whose health is it? Just be smart about it, The same as with anything you do online. Inform yourself, think and verify: never trust just one type of source. The Internet user’s first responsibility is to learn which websites are the most trustworthy. Sometimes the answer is obvious: the NHS direct site will give you more reliable, evidencebased information about the flu than the blogs of flu sufferers trying out novel treatments. But the reliability question does not always have an obvious answer. Some patient-based websites (e.g.,patientsLikeme.com) are excellent sources of information about the experiences of patients with complex medical conditions. Meanwhile, some sites that at first seem to be simply informative are advancing the agenda of a commercial enterprise. for example, depression.com, despite its innocent-sounding domain name, is anything but innocent. a few clicks will take you to a description of

depression as aneurochemical dis-order that might respond well to medication. the makers of the antidepressants paxil and Wellbutrin sponsor the site. Source reliability isn’t the only thing that Web users have to be careful about. some symptom checkers (Webmd.com) are often more alarming than empowering; online consultations with unknown “experts” (Justanswer.com) can lengthen, rather than shorten, the process of finding answers to medical questions and the fact is that even good information isn’t helpful if you don’t know how to interpret it or how to use it or good decisionmaking. A study done for microsoft in 2008 demonstrated that online health- information seekers tend to “catastrophize”: a person Googling “headache” is more likely to follow links to “brain tumor” fthan to “sinus infection.” We should be informed about health maintenance and illness prevention, and we should learn as much as we can about our own chronic conditions, but we need to do it senisibly. Age Care Association Fashion Show 2011 “ If something seems too good to be true, it probably is!” How often have we seen or heard this old adage? Yet, at the Casablanca Restaurant in Calahonda, the saying was disproved when the Age Care Association Charity Shop held it’s annual Fashion Show. Coastline FM has been around on the Costa del Sol since 1989 and is Spain’s longest established English speaking radio station. Coastline brings you a daily mix of live programmes, the newest releases, great classic tracks, with world, UK, Spanish national and regional news plus weather, competitions, live interviews and much more. “The inland service is proving increasingly popular” said breakfast show host Bernie Forbes, “we are getting emails and phone calls from places we never thought we’d reach, and are sending out Coastline mugs to competition winners from all over Málaga province and beyond”. The station reports that 44% of online

listeners are now from Spain, with the UK coming second at 34%, and Germany in third position. Under new ownership since April 2010, the radio station’s priority has been investment in new equipment alongside increasing the “live and local” aspects of their programmes. With new digital radio production equipment and many new presenters, Coastline is going from strength to strength. “People tell us they like the changes and that we help to keep them informed of what’s going on in and around Andalucia” says Bernie. Advertisers are happy too – without increasing their prices, Coastline now has a potential audience more than double what it was at the beginning of the year. The introduction of an extra inland transmitter in August and increasing interest by online listeners saw Coastline FM’s listener numbers jump by around 35% between June and August this summer.

Hi I known its been a While but i hope you are all well and enjoying the new sound of 96.1 Heart fm. Well Christmas will soon be upon us and we will all be faced with the prezie dilema, music is always a good bet though and amongst the usual Now 350 and the greatest dance floor hits of 2012 EVER ( I love those dont you ) there are a couple of really good albums. Matt Cardle, last years X-Factor winner has a new Single written by current X-Factor judge Gary Barlow out at the moment. The track is a taster for his album which is due for relaese this month. Matt is a really nice guy and if you like his vocal style you will love the album I just wish there was a bit more personallity under neath his cap - Ah well....... A couple of weeks ago we were lucky to catch up with Mick Wilson of 10cc who after a number of years has decided to release a solo album titled "So the Story Goes" and is currently on a European tour promoting the Album. Mick is one on those musicians who has recorded with the greatest and giged with the best, but is very rarely given due credit, hopefully that will change with this Album. I asked Mick what the Album was all about and he explained “So The Story Goes is a collection of straight ahead pop tunes co-produced and co-written with Graham Gouldman. What just started out a couple of years ago with Graham and myself just sitting down with two acoustic guitars has finally ended up with a solo album that I’m really proud of. Following on from a great reaction to an initial couple of songs, people began asking if I was going to make a whole album of my material, who would be involved and would I be playing it live etc. So we decided to write some more tunes and found that the partnership worked really well and we were both pleased with the results." Mick also filled me in on some of the band he has playing with Him "I managed to draft Rick Fenn from 10cc in on a couple of tunes in between his epic journeys back and forth to Byron Bay and was able to get my old friend Mal Maddock to play some piano and organ on two of the tracks. Possibly one of the highlights of my musical career was having Brian Bennett play on “Take Me Dancing”. To

have the drummer of the very first record I ever bought, play on my album was a great honour" Ah Now for an album by a true Legend in anybodies book Tony Bennet has released Duets 2 and as with the first of these albums features a pretty wide selection of guests. There have already been 2 huge tracks played as promotion Fornrhis collection the first being "Dont Around Much Anymore" with Micheal Buble and the second "Body and Soul" with the late Amy Winehouse. I reckon the next track from this album to be getting loads of play will have to be "The Lady s a Tramp" which has Lady Gaga singing with Tony - the video for this is well worth watching. Also on Duets 2 there are tracks with Andrea Bocelli, Aretha Franklin and Alejandro Sanz as I say diverse or what.... . Peter Gabrielle has returned to the sudio to produce a Greatest Hits album with a difference all of the tracks have Peter backed by the 50 plus strong New Blood Orchestra making for a very interesting reworking of the back catalogue. Peter and the Orchestra played live on Later with Jools Holland and the stand out track for me has to be "Red Rain". If you are a fan then this album is a must Ok chaps dont get too cold and I will be back next issue, take care, and Keep listenig to the Heart and Soul of the Campo 96.1 Heart fm, catch us on line at www.heartfmspain.com Later then. Motorcycle Helmet Law, ex-Protestor 2011 Darwin Award Nominee Confirmed True by Darwin (July 2011, New York) Protesting motorcycle helmet laws, an Onondaga, NY man was participating in a bare-noggin protest ride when he was killed via flipping over the handlebars. The motorcycle accident injured the noggin of Mr. Contos, 55, fatally damaging a brain that was unable to determine the physics of the situation. Moreover, he d do it again if he could, according to his elder brother. He would have wanted it that way. Certain laws have physics on their side, obviously, and the laws say one's body cannot walk away from a high-speed physical impact. Laws not subject to repeal. Unprotected--you squash like a bug. Protected--you eat squash for dinner. Since properly padded and protected men

can walk away from a 90-mph crash, protection is prudent when you increase {mass x speed} above a critical threshhold. Prudent, but sould protection be mandatory? Robert Frost says, "I hold it to be the inalienable right of anybody to go to hell in his own way." Police said Phil "hit his brakes, fishtailed and went out of control, flipping him over the handlebars." What we, the Darwin Awards committee, would like to know--and news reports don't explain--is just how he went over the handlebars? 'Men and women everywhere were instantly talking about Pippa, so naturally brides-to-be will want to emulate her classic look - both for themselves or their bridesmaids,' says Alain Mehada, chief personal shopper at Debenhams on London's Oxford Street. Pippa, 28, almost stole the show as Maid Of Honour at 29-year-old sister Kate's wedding in April when she stepped out in her figure-hugging ivory gown. 'We have been inundated by customers asking if we have anything similar to the (Royal Wedding) dresses,' Alain tells Metro, 'but the ivory dress worn by Pippa is the most requested.'

" ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS " The nearer we get to Christmas the more “ PLEASE let me have a puppy “ must be resounding in many households. It´s a very vivid memory I have of my own childhood ,but sadly my parents would never let me have a cat or dog, which is why I felt the need to fill my life with them as soon as I was able to ,and still do. To be a good dog owner takes lots of time, work and expense, as well as unconditional love and commitment, therefore a lot of thought should go into the decision to get a dog, especially if you have never had one before. A dog should never be bought, or better still adopted from a rescue centre just to “shut the kids up”as the novelty of cleaning up after them, feeding and walking them etc wears off very quickly and parents are left with years of doing what they often did not “sign up” to do. Sadly rescue centres are full of dogs from such backgrounds, discarded from homes who didn´t think!! I personally feel a house is not a home without animals and that children should be brought up withanimal "friends "but remember, some dogs require a lot of physical and mental exercise, if you are not willing to commit the time and energy required to properly care for these dogs it is likely they will display their frustration by barking, digging, chewing or jumping fences etc , a bored, lonely dog can often become a problem to both you and your neighbours. Look at your lifestyle, ask yourself if you will be able to accept "accidents" in the house, soiled or torn furniture, unexpected medical problems and expenses, will you find time for daily walks( in all weathers )and to groom your dog, which can take a long time if it is long haired. Then, do some research to determine the pet that will best fit in with you and your family. If you are not 100% committed to dog ownership, perhaps a cat would suit you better.

I have flagged up some of the doggie negatives as the thought of a new dog or puppy is hard to resist and mistakes are easily made, however with good, firm but kind training any problems can normally be overcome and the lifelong love and companionship a dog gives you makes them pale into insignificance, there is no better " welcome home " than that from a dog! but PLEASE remember the well known , but true, saying A DOG IS FOR LIFE, NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS. I have just rescued another 9 young cats from the municipal pound if anyone feels they could give one a loving home please contact me on 630197435, they will be fully vaccinated and neutered. They are all really sweet and will make wonderful pets, no charge is made but a donation to CHAIN the Charity for Animals In Need would be gratefully accepted. To inform the Social Security office in Spain of a change of address, use the form Modelo 030 (downloadable from our website) and take it to your Social Security office to update your details. Spanish health Insurance cards In a previous issue, we informed you of a direct link on our website www.ccbspain.com to order your Tarjeta Sanitaria Europea (TSE) the equivalent to the European Health Insurance card (EHIC), in Spain. This link allows you to obtain your TSE without incurring any charges.

Once the details have been updated, it is generally quicker to apply online for the Tarjeta Sanitaria Europea (TSE) as some offices require pre booked appointments. However, it is worth asking if you can submit your application whilst you are actually in the Social Security office ‌ you may just be in luck!

We have received numerous phone calls from people who have been unable to order their TSE due to the fact that they have not informed the Social Security office of a change of address. If the address you enter on the application link for the TSE is not the same as the address you have registered with Social Security then your application will not be processed. Please be advised that entering an old address will result in the TSE being posted to that old address.

For further guidance and assistance with this matter, do not hesitate to Contact Us on Tel: 952 48 68 06 or email info@ccbspain.com .

Weevers (or Weeverfish) are nine species of fish of family Trachinidae. They are long (up to 37 cm), mainly brown and have poisonous spines on their first dorsal fin and gills. During the day, weevers bury themselves in sand, just showing their eyes, and snatch prey as it comes past, which consists of shrimps and small fish. Weevers are unusual in not having a swim bladder as do most bony fishes and as a result sink as soon as they stop actively swimming. This species is restricted to the eastern Atlantic (including the Mediterranean). This fish is used in the recipe for bouillabaisse. Weevers are sometimes erroneously called 'weaver fish', although the word is unrelated. In fact, the word 'weever' is believed to derive from the Old French word 'wivre', meaning serpent or dragon, from the Latin 'vipera'. It is sometimes also known as the viperfish, although it is not related to the viperfish proper. Stings and prevention Most human stings are inflicted by the lesser weever which habitually remains buried in sandy areas of shallow water and is thus more likely to come into contact with bathers. Stings from other species are generally limited to anglers and commercial fishermen. Even very shallow water (sometimes little more than damp sand) may harbour lesser weevers. The vast majority of injuries occur to the foot and are the result of stepping on buried fish, other common sites of injury are the hands and buttocks. Stings are most common in the hours before and after low tide so one possible precaution is to avoid bathing or paddling at these times. They also increase in frequency during the summer (to a maximum in August) but this is probably the result of the greater number of bathers. The lesser weever can be found from the southern North Sea to the Mediterranean and is common around the south coast of the UK and Ireland, the Atlantic coast of France and Spain, and the northern coast of the Mediterranean. The high number of bathers found on popular tourist beaches in these areas means that stings are common although individual chances of being stung are low. The South Wales Evening Post stated (on 8 August 2000) that around 40 weever stings are recorded in the Swansea and Gower area every year however many victims will not

seek medical assistance and go uncounted. Weever stings have been known to penetrate wet suit boots even through a rubber sole (if thin) and it is recommended that bathers and surfers wear sandals, "jelly shoes" or wetsuit boots with a relatively hard sole and avoid sitting or "rolling" in the shallows. Symptoms At first many victims believe they have simply scratched them-self on a sharp stone or shell, although this barely hurts, significant pain begins about 2–3 minutes after being stung. Weever stings cause severe pain, common descriptions are "extremely painful" and "much worse than a wasp (or bee) sting". The following symptoms may occur following a weever sting: Common/minor symptoms: Severe pain, itching, swelling, heat, redness, numbness, tingling, nausea, vomiting, joint aches, headaches, abdominal cramps, lightheadedness, increased urination and tremors. Rare/severe symptoms: Abnormal heart rhythms, weakness, shortness of breath, seizures, decreased blood pressure, gangrene and tissue degeneration, unconsciousness. Treatment Although extremely unpleasant, weever stings are not generally dangerous and the pain will ease considerably within a few hours even if untreated. Complete recovery may take a week or more; in a few cases victims have reported swelling and/or stiffness persisting for months after. The venom is a type of protein and is heat labile. This means that the only treatment is to put the effected limb in water as hot as the victim can stand without causing scalding. (In tests, the protein denatured above 40°C.) This is meant to bring about rapid and permanent relief. First Aid treatment consists of immersing the affected area in the very hot water. Usual experience is that the pain then fades within ten to twenty minutes, as the water cools. Folklore often suggests the addition of substances to the hot water including urine, vinegar and Epsom salts but this is of limited (if any) value. Heat should be applied for at least 15 minutes but, as a rule of thumb: the longer the delay (before heat is applied) the longer the treatment should be continued. Once the pain has eased the injury should be checked for the remains of broken spines and any found need to be removed. Medical advice should be sought if any of the symptoms listed above as Severe are observed, if swelling spreads beyond the immediate area of injury (e.g. from hand to arm), if symptoms persist or if any other factor causes concern.

Japan On the day the 2011 drivers’ title was decided, it was fitting that Suzuka’s podium featured three world champions, all of whom had driven superb races to take the chequered flag separated by just two seconds. Jenson Button’s victory was a well-earned one, but inevitably it was Sebastian Vettel everyone wanted to talk to after his carefully-judged third place finally put his lead atop the 2011 driver standings beyond the reach of his illustrious rivals. Initially Button lost out when Vettel made a very aggressive start, and as he backed off Hamilton stole second place. But then Hamilton picked up a right-rear puncture on the eighth lap and dropped out of sequence. Button then hunted Vettel down, taking the lead during the second stops. A superb drive then saw him eke out an advantage, which he was able to protect against attack from Alonso in the closing stages. He won with honour, as Vettel did enough to secure his title. Hamilton later collided lightly with Massa in the chicane, prompting a safety-car period as debris was cleared up, and later passed Massa to claim fifth place on what he described as a disappointing afternoon. Korea Anyone thinking Sebastian Vettel would cruise for rest of the season, having wrapped up his second world title, was proved sadly mistaken in Korea. It was, in fact, quite the opposite. Freed of any need to play the numbers game, Vettel crushed his opposition, despite McLaren having been expected to challenge hard for the win. Red Bull’s main concern turned out to be getting the German to slow down, as they looked to ensure victory and bring home their second constructors’ championship on the trot. Behind Vettel, the first dry Korean Grand Prix provided some gripping racing, a resurgent Lewis Hamilton’s battle with Mark Webber in particular keeping fans on the edge of their seats What could one say of Vettel’s race? It was perfect, as he grabbed the lead by the fourth corner on the opening lap and comfortably held on to it 12s ahead of the fierce scrap for second behind him. Webber got past Hamilton once, on the 49th lap, but was immediately repassed and couldn’t quite get back at Hamilton. Their 1-3 result was, however, sufficient to give the team their second consecutive constructors’ world championship, to go with the drivers’ title Vettel secured in Japan. It was quite a week for the men and women from Milton Keynes. India Vettel eases to inaugural Indian victory 30 Oct 2011 Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel won the 2011 Formula 1 Airtel Grand Prix of India, but it might as well have been a replay of his victory in Korea a fortnight ago as he simply ran away and hid and left McLaren’s Jenson Button to chase him from a distance. Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso and Red Bull’s Mark Webber were even further behind while yet another clash with Ferrari’s Felipe Massa left a bitterly disappointed Lewis Hamilton to a seventh-place finish in the McLaren behind the Mercedes duo of Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg. All three top finishers paid their respects to IndyCar’s Dan Wheldon and MotoGP’s Marco Simoncelli, for whom there had been a minute’s silence on the grid, and said they had been racing for them on a day of mixed emotions. Vettel sprinted into the lead at the start and worked very hard to build a cushion, which he then controlled as he led every lap. At times Button got the gap down to less than three seconds, but Vettel was always in command and the result was never in doubt. Alonso jumped Webber after his second pit stop on Lap 39, and withstood the Australian’s counter-attack in the closing laps to complete the podium finishers. Hamilton seemed to lack pace from the start, running in sixth behind Vettel, Button, Webber, Alonso and Massa, but had all but completed a move on the Brazilian in Turn Five on the 24th lap when Massa turned in and they collided. The Ferrari driver continued as the Englishman pitted for a new front wing, but Massa was later given a drive-through penalty and his next tyre stop finally dropped him behind the McLaren. To complete a bad day for him, he then broke his Ferrari’s left front suspension after clobbering a kerb in Turn 12 on the 33rd lap.

Can’t see it, heres some tips that might help The Pullback Get very close to the stereogram, and very, very slowly pull it away from you. At first you won't even be able to focus on the image... However, keep moving the image in and out, relaxing, and it will appear. Look at the Reflection You'll need to LOOK at something about twice the distance of the image. It turns out we have something that is almost always available that is the exact distance... your reflection. By looking at your reflection, this will help, if not put the book one side of a glass door enough to let you see your reflection.then... After looking at your eye, simply stop focusing on your eye, and try to see the image. Repeat, switching your focus from your eye to the image, and your reflection... and suddenly you will get it.

The husband, although very much in love, couldn't wait to go out on the town and party with his old buddies. So, he said to his new wife, 'Honey, I'll be right back.'' Where are you going, honey bunch?'

asked the wife. 'I'm going to the bar, pretty face. I'm going to have a beer.' The wife said, 'You want a beer, my love?' She went and opened the door to the refrigerator and showed him 25 different kinds of beer brands from 12 different countries: Germany , Holland , Japan , India , etc. The husband didn't know what to do, and the only thing that he could think of saying was, 'Yes, lolly pop...but at the bar...you know...they have frozen glasses...' He didn't get to finish the sentence, because the wife interrupted him by saying, 'You want a frozen glass, puppy face?' She took a huge beer mug out of the freezer, so frozen that she was getting chills just holding it. The husband, looking a bit pale, said, 'Yes,

tootsie roll, but at the Bar they have those hors d'oeuvres that are really delicious... I won't be long, I'll be right back. I promise.. OK?' You want hors d'oeuvres, poochi pooh?' She opened the oven and took out 5 dishes of different hors d'oeuvres: chicken wings, pigs in blankets, mushroom caps, pork strips, etc. 'But my sweet honey... At the bar... You know...there's swearing, dirty words and all that...' 'You want dirty words, you bastard? Drink your f@@king beer in your damn frozen mug and eat your shitty snacks, because you are married now, and you aren't going anywhere! Got it, Asshole?' so he stayed home............ ........and, they lived happily ever after. Older Men at Breakfast Chatting... "Sixty is the worst age to be," said the 60year-old man. "You alwaysfeel like you have to pee and most of the time you stand there and nothing comes out."

"Ah, that's nothin," said the 70-year-old. "When you're seventy, you don't have a bowel movement any more. You take laxatives, eat bran, sit on the toilet all day and nothin' comes out!" "Actually," said the 80-year -old, "Eighty is the worst age of all." "Do you have trouble peeing, too?" asked the 60-year old. "No, I pee every morning at 6:00. I pee like a racehorse on a flat rock; no problem at all." "So, do you have a problem with your bowel movement?" "No, I have one every morning at 6:30." Exasperated, the 60-year-old said, "You pee every morning at 6:00 and crap every morning at 6:30. So what's so bad about being 80?" "I don't wake up until 7:00."
