duraÇÃo duration: 40 min classificaÇÃo indicatiVa: liVre Parental rating: all ages por entre camadas de papel sobrepostas, três intérpretes se movem criando relevos, texturas e figuras abstratas. a relação com esse material é tão complexa que não se sabe ao certo quem é o gerador do movimento. Em Big Bang Boom, o espectador aprecia bem de perto a contínua transformação das folhas de papel e do corpo, que ganha volume e constrói inúmeras formas durante a performance, num percurso revelador. a coreógrafa michelle moura vê a criação como um processo contínuo de destruição e transformação: de um corpo em outro, das árvores à celulose. Em cena, o processo de destruição e criação é evidenciado de forma lenta, e a intensidade da ação é capaz de abalar a percepção que se tem do tempo e do espaço.

o início da criação de Big Bang Boom se deu durante o programa residências no Edifício, em Lisboa, portugal, quando michelle moura procurava por um chão movediço. Lá se deparou com um amontoado de papel descartado por uma fábrica de jornal. a performance foi finalizada no programa Essais, do centro Nacional de Dança contemporânea de angers, na França, e estreou no Festival panorama, no rio de Janeiro, em 2012. uma das fundadoras do couve-Flor minicomunidade artística mundial, de curitiba, michelle moura é bailarina e coreógrafa.

in between layers of overlapping paper, three performers move, creating reliefs, textures and abstract figures. the relationship with this material is so complex that no one knows for sure who the originator of the movement is. in big bang boom, the audience appreciates closely the ongoing transformation of the paper and the body, which increases in volume and builds numerous forms during the performance, in a revealing journey. choreographer michelle moura sees creation as an ongoing process of destruction and transformation: from one body to another, from trees to pulp. on stage, the process of destruction and creation is evidenced slowly, and the intensity of the action is able to shake the perception one has of time and space.

the beginning of the creation of big bang boom was during the program residências no Edifício, in Lisbon, portugal, when michelle moura was searching for a shifting ground. then she came across a pile of paper discarded by a paper plant. the performance ended in the Essais program, at the National center of contemporary Dance in angers, France, and premiered in the panorama Festival, in rio de Janeiro, in 2012. one of the founders of the couve-Flor minicomunidade artística mundial, from curitiba, michelle moura is a ballet dancer and choreographer.
