Têtes à Têtes é um espetáculo para crianças a partir de 3 anos. Nele, acompanha-se a história de um estranho personagem de cabeça enorme desde o seu nascimento até o primeiro encontro amoroso, na idade adulta. Diversos ciclos são abordados: da vida à morte, do dia à noite, do sono ao despertar. Num palco todo branco, projeções de vídeos criam os mais diversos ambientes por onde o solitário personagem passa. os desenhos projetados ganham vida na interação entre dança e vídeo, como em um mergulho no universo do desenho animado. ao longo da narrativa, o personagem descobre o espaço, as cores e o próprio corpo, até que, finalmente, depara-se com o outro.

a coreógrafa e bailarina maria clara villa Lobos nasceu no brasil, mas, filha de diplomata, viajou pelo mundo desde muito jovem. Estudou na p.a.r.t.s., dirigida por anne teresa De Keersmaeker, na bélgica, e trabalhou com diversos coreógrafos e companhias da Europa, como Les ballets c. de la b., sasha Waltz, thomas Lehmen e tino sehgal. atualmente, maria clara realiza seus próprios trabalhos artísticos na cidade de bruxelas, na bélgica.

Têtes à Têtes is a show for children ages 3 and up. the show follows the story of a strange character with an enormous head, from the character’s birth up to a romantic encounter in adulthood. several cycles are covered: from life to death, day to night, sleeping to waking. on an all white stage, video projections construct the most diverse of environments through which this solitary character passes. the projected drawings come alive during the interaction of the dance with the video, as if entering into the universe of animation. over the course of the story, the character discovers space, colors, its own body, until finally, it finds itself in the presence of another character.

choreographer and dancer maria clara villa Lobos was born in brazil, but, being the daughter of a diplomat, travelled the world as a child. she studied at p.a.r.t.s (directed by anne teresa De Keersmaeker) in belgium and worked for a variety of choreographers and companies in Europe, like Les ballets c. de la b., sasha Waltz, thomas Lehmen and tino sehgal. currently maria clara creates and performs her own work in the city of brussels in belgium.
