Sherborne Girls proudly presents SG Enterprises, the commercial arm of the School. We are responsible for all non- school activities throughout the year, which principally take place in the school holidays.
Sherborne Girls is a leading full-boarding school, situated in a beautiful Dorset market town, complete with honey coloured buildings and rambling streets The School has a glorious 40-acre campus, just a short walk from the town centre The main school is a listed Victorian manor building, with a host of historic features including a large wood--panelled hall which can accommodate groups from 10 to 350.
Boarding Houses and School facilities are available to hire outside the School term The School provides the perfect location to host residential groups, conferences, private functions, concerts, and special occasions. It has excellent transport links and is within walking distance of Sherborne train station.

Samantha Welch is the Trading Manager for SG Enterprises and is responsible for all commercial activities for Sherborne Girls which include events, residential and nonresidential lets, the School Shop and Queenie’s the on-campus café. She is the DSL for SG Enterprises
Jennifer Brewer is the Events Officer for SG Events and is your dedicated go to person for all things Events She will take all the initial enquiries and follow them through to the end She is the Safeguarding Lead for SG Events.
Jaqui Simpson is the Residential / Lettings Officer who is responsible for your residential stay at Sherborne Girls She is on hand throughout the process from start to finish and your main point of contact.
Our dedicated team of staff are here to help you with hosting, organising your event or your stay with us from start to finish. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience between them, and pride themselves on their customer service.

The Merritt Centre is a multi-functional building boasting a state - of-the -art music and performance venue, it is the perfect location for all your musical needs. It boasts 19 teaching rooms, 2 classrooms which are specifically designed for music lessons and a cutting- edge recording studio.
The Gransden Hall, the main heart of the building is the concert hall It has a superb acoustic, warm, and sufficiently resonant for both vocal and instrumental music Acoustic banners allow a subtle flexibility of reverberation, and the seating offers numerous configurations with which to accommodate varying numbers of performers and audience.
The Mackenzie Foyer has a lovely ambiance with fabulous views over the grounds and is available for private functions.
Queenie’s café can be open for your events, and catering is available through our inhouse caterers.

The Beddington Building is standalone block which is perfect for day courses or teaching for residential lettings such as Language Schools, where classrooms are required There is a purpose-built lecture theatre, large foyer and rooms of various sizes for breakout sessions.
The Main School boasts many additional rooms which can be used as smaller venues if you have a more intimate event. Ranging from meetings room, classrooms, a staff room and drawing room, all with AV, W i-Fi and conference facilities available
The School Hall is ideal for that traditional feel. Its interior lends itself to a number of different layouts and can hold approximately 400 guests in conference style seating.

All residential lettings will be provided with bespoke packages. There are Bed and Breakfast, Half or Full board options available.

We can provide various formations of rooms from single to dorms, all with ample washroom facilities. All pillows, duvets, mattress covers, and bed linen is provided. There are single rooms available for staff on each floor and there is a degree of separation for guests with separate floors or areas if required. Unique to Sherborne Girls, each House has its own dining room, drawing room and common room Laundry facilities and security are available on request.

For something a little bit different we have the Horse Box which is available for outdoor catering.

Sherborne is a beautiful town nestled within a conservation area. It boasts 2 Castles, an Abbey and a pretty high street offering an array of boutique and unique shops.

There are numerous places of interest including historic sites with a short distance and it is only 45 minutes from the coast.
At the School there is ample free parking on site at Oxley Sports Centre, you are within walking distance to Sherborne town centre.
Sherborne offers direct train links with London Waterloo (approximately two hours) and easy access to the M5 It also sits close to the A303, the gateway to Devon and Cornwall.
