There is something incredibly wonderful and life-affirming about young people making music and sharing it with audiences of all ages. It therefore gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our Michaelmas Term music diary, which is packed with wonderful concerts and events to be performed by our talented and dedicated young musicians.

You will see a wide range of musical genres represented in our programme; from Scholars’ recitals and ensembles concerts to unplugged and informal Friday lunchtime concerts. Music is central

to the life of the school and all girls are encouraged to take part to culturally enrich their lives. The choir regularly sing services both in school and in the Abbey and we take great pride in the quality and breadth of our music making in all its forms.

We encourage you to come and hear our wonderful musicians at those events open to the public and we look forward to meeting you and sharing our passion for music.

Music Scholarships are available at 11+, 13+ and 16+
