PROPOSAL 1- Katte Car Street CONCEPT

Using the ideas of mobility provided by wheels and the necessity for shade, the interventioon proposed is a prototype of a katte that can be re arranged by means of grooves in various ways to cater to the needs of different user groups at different times of the day and year.

In the morning the katte can be used to sell flowers and other temple needs, also serve as spaces for men to gather in the mornings.

The functionality of the katte can change in the evenings to serve as spaces for rest and gatherings and for play.

During festivals and other religious gatherings the katte can be rearranged to serve as a performance or selling area.
