STURGEON BAY WELCOMES YOU Come for the Fun. Stay for the Memories. As you travel around the country, you discover communities each with a uniqueness and natural surroundings making them one of a kind. But what we’ve come to realize, is that a place becomes special when it becomes part of our memories. It’s that morning kayak under the bridge or that place you had that great glass of wine. It’s that cool picture you took with the amazing sunset or the theater performance that made you laugh until you cried. These are the things that make a destination part of who you are.

#1 bass fishery in the country in 2014. Enjoy our three lighthouses and bike our friendly community where you can tour through town and then into some of the lushest parks you’ve ever seen.

Sturgeon Bay, Door County, surrounded by the pristine waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan, makes for the perfect setting to begin your fun and memory-making getaway. Tour our working waterfront, home of a shipbuilding industry that houses 1000 foot freighters or enjoy our historic walking tour which features 121 historically designated properties.

Sturgeon Bay art isn’t confined to the galleries, either. Our restaurants are filled with chefs whose culinary skills embrace our locally sourced foods, wines, brews and spirits. And at the end of the day, know that wherever you choose to stay—B&B, resort, cottage or condo, you’ll feel right at home when your head hits that pillow.

Love the outdoors? Get out on the water kayaking, paddleboarding, boating or sailing or grab that rod and reel and see why Sturgeon Bay was named the

And the shopping! Sturgeon Bay is home to boutiques and galleries filled with one-of-a-kind gems that will take your breath away. With three distinctly unique shopping districts, you’ll be sure to find something that you can’t live without, and that’ll remind you of the place you can’t wait to get back to.

There’s a reason that Sturgeon Bay, Door County was named Top 10 “Happiest Seaside Towns in America.” Come for the Fun and Stay for the Memories. We think that you’ll be happy you did.
