raduating with a BFA in fashion design, Jennifer Janesko began her career as a fashion design illustrator. It was not long, however, before she started evolving her fashion illustrations into beautiful works of fine art. “I have always loved drawing, and pencil and paper was my happy place. My dad was an artist in his spare time, and it opened up a magical space in my childhood. My dad is no longer on this earth, so when I create art as an adult I feel connected to him,” says Janesko. Taking a modernist approach, Janesko classifies some of her art as abstract landscapes. “They are inspired by the vistas I see when I travel. I layer those memories in my mind and paint them into a single image,” she explains. She also designs figurative art. “My figurative art is created using either oil or acrylic for paintings and graph-
