Gives the opportunity to receive high-level Futsal instruction in a group setting. Emphasis of the program will be on the player development, focusing on ball skills and ball manipulation High-quality coaches will take the players through a number of different attacking/defensive scenarios, helping players make more informed decisions The players will focus on learning how to play as a cohesive unit and will learn the tactics of the game
BASKETBALL (OUTDOOR)
This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. At Camp San Jose your child will participate in an unforgettable summer day camp experience combining summer camp traditions with enrichment and educational activities Children will play crazy fun games, sports, create cool arts and crafts projects, sing funny songs, and embark on a weekly field trip. Activities incorporate educational features disguised in fun and entertaining activities and projects Price includes a low leader to child ratio of 1:10, field trips, a Camp San Jose shirt, skill building, new friendships, disguised learning and much more!
*Families opting not to participate in field trips are responsible for finding alternative care for their child(ren) not attending the trip. The City will not provide a prorated refund for those that elect not to participate, nor will onsite care be available. Campers need to bring water, lunch* and sunscreen each day

Program Information
R.O.C.K. Afterschool is available Monday-Friday on school campuses from the time school is dismissed until 6 p.m., except school holidays, breaks, and inservice days.
Payment Options
R.O.C.K. Afterschool payment options include a one-time payment in full or quarterly or monthly auto pay. A Punch Pass for 10 site visits to R.O.C.K. will also be available for students. Scholarships are available for those who qualify; awarded as funding is available. Please contact your local community center for information about scholarship opportunities.
R.O.C.K. Afterschool is a license-exempt program.

I am the Parks, Recreation and Facilities Supervisor overseeing Almaden Community Center. My favorite part of my role is having the opportunity to serve diverse demographics within the district 10 community; it's incredibly rewarding, and I enjoy working with my amazing team! A fun fact about me is that despite being obsessed with cats, I recently became a dog mom to an English bulldog who is the complete opposite of a cat! It's been an unexpected and fun adventure!

My name is Jarrad, I have been a staff member of the Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood services team for about 5 years! I'm the Interim Recreation Specialist-Fitness that overseas all sport leisure and the fitness facility. Being a newcomer to this team, I think the best part in being in this Interim position is being able to connect with and help out the Almaden Community as a whole. Plus, joining an already great team, these group of awesome ladies in the back office is simply fantastic! Fun fact about myself is I have a pet turtle named Porkchop!

POLICIES
REFUND/ TRANSFER POLICY
Refund and transfer requests need to be made in writing. Refunds and transfers will be given for requests received at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class. No refunds or transfers will be made for cancellations received by the City less than 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class. There will be a $10 refund processing fee for EACH activity.
LEISURE CLASS POLICIES
Our method of registration is designed to odder equal access to all San Jose residents.
Customers can register for any class at the PRNS facility or online. The City does not guarantee participation from one session tot he next. All online, walk-in, mailed, faxed registration will be treated in the same manner. San Jose residents will be given first priority to register.
Registration forms will be processed in the order they were received. If a class instructor is absent or a class is canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be added to the end of the session.
INCLUSION POLICY
The City of San José, Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) encourages and supports the participation of individuals with all ability levels in programs and services.
