My name is Lisa, and I have been a staff member of the Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services for over 15 years. I am the PRFS overseeing the Berryessa Community Center. I enjoy engaging with the District 4 Community and providing quality services to our Community A fun fact about me is that I like traveling to new places and enjoying the outdoors.

Iszabel currently oversees the Afterschool Program at the Starbird Youth Center. She goes above and beyond to ensure the students have a safe and enriching experience at program Iszabel has been great part of our team, bringing her passion, creativity, and leadership to everything she does.

Sally Ruiz is a new staff member of the Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood services team! Sally Has been with Parks and Recreation Since May 2024 Sally has helped keep our community centers running smoothly and facilitate important information between programs, such as checking in guests and performing administrative tasks to ensure we provides exceptional guest service and smooth operations."

DANCE WINTER CLASSES

PRE-BALLET

A first introduction to ballet - children learn basic ballet positions, steps and routines. They dance to a variety of ballet and age-appropriate music, use props and have lots of fun! Parents may stay for first 10 min of first class and are invited back at the end of program for a class demonstration.

HIPPITY-HOP

This introduction to hip-hop class is for boys and girls who love to dance and have lots of energy! Music and instruction is age appropriate Children learn to respond to music, improve balance, agility, coordination and rhythm Parents may stay for first 10 min of first class and are invited back at the end of program for a class demonstration.

Ballet is an introduction to classical ballet technique Exercises will be covered in an age-appropriate manner, focusing on balance and coordination.
