JOSE ZAMORA

Recreation Leader

DANNA CASTILLO

Recreation Leader

Danna Castillo has been a great staff to work with at Mayfair Community Center. She greets all customers with a big smile. Always finds ways to improve front desk organization for all staff. She even keeps seniors company while they wait for their ride. Without Danna our center would not be open in the mornings.

Jose is entering his second year supporting our Teen Center. He does an excellent job of not only connecting with our youth, but also building and keeping trust with our Teens. Since joining our team, he has incorporated Barber Club for our Teens where our youth not only learn the craft of cutting hair, but also receive free haircuts once a month. The passion Jose has for our youth is a main reason why our Teen Center is reaching enrollment numbers we have not seen in years past here at Mayfair.

EMILY HERNANDEZ

Recreation Leader

Emily is also entering her second year supporting our Teen Center. Our Teens love her presence and gravitate towards her each day at program. Emily is always going above and beyond in her planning to make sure we run engaging activities or crafts, from bracelet making, painting, to cooking snacks, entrees, and desserts in our Teen kitchen. Our Teens come to her with anything that they are dealing with outside of program and Emily always does an excellent job of providing a positive support system while making sure our youth understand that they themselves are important and matter.
