TIKTOK DANCE

Tik-Tok Dance class combines training and fun competition During this class, participants will prepare for a small group dance off at the completion of the class Participants will learn aspects of Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Dance Workout, K-Pop, Ballet, Salsa, Popping, Jazz, Lite Feet, Heels, House, Locking. The goal is to foster community connection and a healthier lifestyle This class develops focus on gross motor skills, pertinent dance steps, and helps to build confidence and selfesteem for all ages

ZUMBA

A Zumba class is a dynamic and exhilarating fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves It incorporates interval training, alternating fast and slow rhythms, to help improve cardiovascular fitness The atmosphere in a Zumba class is typically energetic and fun, focusing on enjoying the music and the movements rather than perfecting each step Participants of all fitness levels can join, as the moves can often be modified to suit different abilities The class usually lasts about an hour and is led by a certified Zumba instructor who guides the participants through various dance styles such as salsa, reggaeton, merengue, and cumbia, ensuring a full-body workout that feels more like a dance party than a fitness session.

Come join the fun! Students will have fun learning Ballet positions, warm-ups, and tap steps. Playable on almost any surface, these soccer-themed motor skill classes are very easy for youngsters to get into. Classes focus on developing motor skills and self-confidence Core soccer skills are taught as well as an introduction to light competition. Instructor-to-student ratio is kept small to maximize individual development, and above all else we promote fun, fun, fun! Parent participation required children under the age of 3 5 years

MINI GYM STARS

A great beginner gymnastic class teaching basic gymnastic skills, including movement exploration, balance, and coordination, and at the same time teaching agility and improving motor skills Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital.

The City of San Jose offers activity scholarships for children, seniors, and adults with disabilities who qualify. Scholarships will cover 50-70% of the class cost. Fill out the scholarship form and bring the necessary documents to any City of San Jose community center Scholarship is awarded as funding is available

SPRING BREAK CAMP 2025

At Camp San Jose, campers participate in an unforgettable day camp experience combining camp traditions with enrichment and educational activities. Campers play fun games, sports, create cool arts and crafts projects, and embark on weekly field trips

In this safe and supportive environment, campers participate in active and engaged learning projects, skill building, youth voice and leadership, and learn healthy choices and behaviors.

Price includes a low leader to camper ratio of 1:10, field trips*, a Camp San Jose shirt, and much more!

*Families opting not to participate in field trips are responsible for finding alternative care for their child(ren) not attending the trip The City will not provide a prorated refund for those that elect not to participate, nor will onsite care be available. Campers need to bring water, lunch and sunscreen each day.

Join us at F I T Camp, a weeklong camp where your kids will develop a balanced approach of knowledge, skills, and confidence to be physically active for a lifetime! YIN YOGA-MONDAY

Yin Yoga is the type of Yoga that is mellow, slow, and focuses on long held stretches on the floor and standing It focuses on range-of-motion (ROM) on the joints of the body In doing so, it energizes all the muscle groups and gives the joints the encouragement and ability to be fluid and flexible, enhancing mobility Perfect for inactive as well as active folks, as class members work at their own pace and their own ROM. No soreness after a session, relaxing and refreshing for both mind and body
