All Access Sports and Recreation (AASR) provides a wide range of programs for individuals of all ages will all ability levels including those with ambulatory or cognitive disabilities, such as power soccer, cooperative dances, play camps and groups arts. for more information check out our website at http://sanjoseca.gov/therapeutics

This program offers children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old an educational and recreational experience This program supports children's imaginative, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development The San José Recreation Preschool Program prepares students for kindergarten success in a safe and welcoming environment
KINDERPREP
This class prepares your child for kindergarten with age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills, and fun! Your child will gain a basic understanding of shapes, colors, pre-phonics, literacy building (i e identifying letter sounds, writing the alphabet, and simple words), number recognition, and counting up to 30 The goal is to have fun, participate, and learn Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted All children must have valid immunization records on file before the start of class Requirements for parent participation will vary by center
LITTLE LEARNERS
Children will be introduced to socialization, positive self-esteem, structured playtime, and simple learning concepts. Children will work on hand-eye coordination and motor skills while gaining independence through circle time, music, songs, stories, play, and arts & crafts. Food will be provided for cooking activities and may be provided for special events. Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted. All children must have valid immunization records on file before the start of class. Requirements for parent participation will vary by center.

2023 CAMP SAN JOSÉ JR.
At Camp San Jose Jr., your child will participate in an unforgettable summer camp! We combine camp traditions with a wide variety of enrichment and educational activities. Children will have the opportunity to create cool art projects, play games and, sing funny songs while ensuring CDC safety measures. Camp San Jose Jr. includes skill-building, making new friendships, and much more! Campers need to bring water, lunch, and sunscreen each day. Each Camp San Jose Jr. session runs for one (1) week.
*Safety is our main priority and we will continue to follow all Santa Clara County and the State of California guidelines. Please keep your child home if they are displaying any signs of illness and report the absence to the campsite that your child is registered in.

MAD SCIENCE EARTH, WIND & INSPIRE
Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow will prevent us from having a great time in this session of Mad Science Explore meteorology and clouds and take a voyage to the center of the earth to how our planet formed Discover how science is used to solve capres and take home your own I D kit Build some simple Mad Science Machines and make your own Rocket Racer! Discover first-hand how movie special effects are created Turn your kitchen into a virtual lab and experiment with chemical reactions that take place. Explore the science behind your favorite toys!

Junior Mad Science engineers design and build structures using simple tools and their imaginations Then the machine madness starts children discover how different machines, both simple and complex, are used in our daily lives! Kids design simple machines using pulleys, wedges, screws, levers and have fun learning how catapults work We use the skills we've learned to build a Mad Science robot that we can keep, all while learning the science of robotics!

Family is central to the Latin American culture! Join Young Rembrandts for a 5- day drawing workshop; we'll be drawing and coloring the magical world of LATIN AMERICA! Artists will learn to draw a charmed house, members of a typical Latin American Family and so much more! Each day is a new look into what life is like in one of the largest regions of the world and students will complete multiple drawings like astonishing animals, distinctive toys and more enchanting.

QUILTERS KNITTING & CROCHETING
Quilting is the art of sewing two or more layers of material together to create a variety of textile products Quilting techniques can be used to make bedspreads, wall hangings, clothing, oven mitts, and more. This group works on individual and group projects and provides quilters with an opportunity to share ideas and techniques. The class is for beginners or experienced quilterslots of helpful advice available.

A SENIOR COMMISSIONER IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION TO ADVOCATE FOR THE OLDER ADULT COMMUNITY
The Senior Citizens Commission studies, reviews, evaluates and makes recommendations to the City Council on matters affecting older adults in the City of San José, including health, education, employment, housing, transportation and recreation.

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be a resident of the City of San José and cannot be a City employee
Passionate and knowledgeable in the field of aging and available for meetings, subcommittees, and research needed for full participation

There is a $5 Late Application Fee for reservations made less than 30 days prior to the event. For any changes to a reservation, there is a $20 fee. Any balloons left behind will be a $5 fee
Discounted rates apply with valid proof of non-profit tax exempt status
Groups that intend to serve alcohol will pay an additional deposit of $500.00 per application
