Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun. Through games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace. WACKY ROBOTS & WITGETS CAMP CAMP Whether your child loves to build things or destroy them, this week of camp includes lots of both! Junior Mad Science engineers design and build structures using simple tools and their imaginations. Then the machine madness starts…children discover how different machines, both simple and complex, are used in our daily lives! Kids design simple machines using pulleys, wedges, screws and levers and have fun learning how catapults work! BROWN BAG PROGRAM - WEDNESDAY Every FIRST & THIRD Wednesday of the month from 8:00am to 9:00am, outside in front of the main office. In order to receive a bag of food, you must be at least sixty years of age and meet the income guidelines. You need to fill out the form and return it to the Second Harvest Food Bank volunteer working that day. If you have questions, please stop by during Brown Bag hours, every FIRST & THIRD Wednesday of the month from 8:00am-9:00am. Ages: 60+

Santa Clara County Senior Nutrition Program Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Cypress Cafe. Lunch is served Monday - Friday at 11:30am. Participants need to check in by 11 a.m. Suggested Donation: $3.00 for adults age 60+ $6.00 guest fee for adults under age 60. Please make reservations by 9:00am the day before by calling 408-244-1353. Monthly menus are available at the Center. Pay for your meals in advance! 11 day meal cards available for $30.
SENIOR ADULT LEGAL ASSISTANCE (SALA) - TUESDAY Senior Adult Legal Assistance (SALA) appointments are available for seniors age 65 and older and a resident of Santa Clara County. Will assist with problems in the area of Social Security, Supplemental, Security Income, Medi-Cal, Medicare, In-Home Support Services, Elder Abuse, Housing, Easy Wills, and Long-term Care. Appointments fill up 1-2 months in advance. Appointments are required. Meets every third Tuesday of the month.

AT CAMP SAN JOSE JR. YOUR CHILD WILL PARTICIPATE IN AN UNFORGETTABLE SUMMER CAMP! WE COMBINE CAMP TRADITIONS WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF ENRICHMENT AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. CHILDREN WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE COOL ART PROJECTS, PLAY GAMES AND, SING FUNNY SONGS. CAMP INCLUDES SKILL BUILDING, NEW FRIENDSHIPS, AND MUCH MORE!
