GYM STARS

This class safely introduces basic gymnastics balances, rolls, springs and rotations while also developing a dance foundation. Children improve motor skills and coordination in a playful atmosphere. Beginning dance moves help develop rhythm, spatial awareness and selfconfidence. A variety of props add to the fun! ENRICHMENT MY FIRST ART CLASS "Explore five art stations with a different theme each week. Children engage in age-appropriate projects at their own pace and in their own way. Each class will end on a musical note with singing and dancing. Aprons are provided but wear your grubbies. All art materials are included in the price of class. BEGINNING UKULELE & GUITAR Playing a string instrument has been an enjoyable and healing activity for the teachers of this class. Members of the class will learn two or three familiar songs each week on their instruments and be able to accompany themselves and others. No previous experience is required. LITTLE VETERIANARIAN SCHOOL Little Veterinarian school encourages students to explore the exciting world of veterinarians. Using interactive demonstrations, crafts and games, kids learn how to take care of a pet and use instruments that real veterinarians use. Instructors: Little Medical School

BEGINNING PIANO AND KEYBOARDS Students will be taught the basics of playing music on the piano/ keyboard. Topics include: basic notes, rhythm and theory as well as finger exercises, chords and scales, all with the goal of being able to play basic keyboard accompaniment parts and fun songs. Keyboards will be provided for students in class. However, students will need a keyboard at home for practice. CONTINUING PIANO AND KEYBOARDS

CAMP LEADERSHIP

Calling all Teens! The Teen Leadership Camp (TLC) is designed for youth ages 12 - 17 to develop their leadership and communication skills. This camp specifically aims to teach participants the skills needed to be effective leaders in the community. Working closely with staff, participants will engage in activities that focus on personal development, building leadership competencies, enhance communication skills, and build confidence and self-efficacy. Participants will receive mentorship from staff, learn the value of teamwork, and practice their newly acquired skills by co-leading activities for younger campers. AARP Smart Driver Class (for ages 50+) This driver safety program offers two different options: a two-day course and a one-day course that acts as a refresher course. A half hour of legal assistance for seniors who are age 60+ and a resident of Santa Clara County. FREE Senior Peer Advocates (SPA) SPA volunteers provide information in various languages and help connect you to many community resources, services, and benefits such as: Food & Nutrition, Housing, Transportation, Care-Giving and Family Support, Legal Services, and Social or Educational Activities. Half hour session. By appointment only on Tuesdays 1-4 pm. FREE Senior Lounge Our Senior Lounge is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Share a cup of coffee with a friend, watch tv, or check your email on one of our computers. The Senior Lounge is a great place to meet some new friends or reconnect with friends from the past.
