broke her neck in a serious car accident when she was 16, had to learn how to talk, eat and even breathe again and wondered how she would ever return to school. She felt lost for years, but after building her confidence enrolled at SLCC with the help of the Disability Resource Center and has since thrived in this new chapter in her life. She is involved with Student Life and Leadership and would like to transfer to a four-year school to major in communications with a focus on public speaking. 20 / slcc.edu
