EAT! CENTRAL BISTRO
1691 CENTRAL ST., LOHI
#DENVER ADAM HOLLOWAY, FLICKR
Denver’s restaurant scene is always hoppin’, so we always have a new place to try out! Central Bistro is amazing, truly; genuine American food with a twist. The environment is Denver-vintage, with a hint of roadside Americana, and the food? Incredible. Fried pickles with a whole-grain mustard aioli, Colorado striped bass with runner beans and lobster tomato emulsion... this is locavore-experimental at it’s finest. Just go and thank us later.
MCADENVER.ORG / $5 Over the holidays before they even start? Done shopping? Need to get out of the house? Head to Black Sheep Fridays at the MCA. Japanese game shows, VHS video debris, and mandatory pirate speak will certainly make for an out-ofthe-box holiday warmup.

Market? I see the market improving. The low inventory levels and incredible interest rates are showing buyers an urgency they have not seen in the market for several years. There have been bidding wars and homes selling above asking price. It has turned into a sellers market overnight. Dream home? My husband and I just purchased a home in Platte Park. We’ve spent the last 6 weeks remodeling to make it our perfect place. We love the location being close to restaurants, light rail, Wash Park and downtown. At this point in my life, this is my dream home. Last transaction? My last transaction was a client looking to move to Denver from Florida. He loved the friendly people, weather, active lifestyle and most importantly an economy that is recovering. He purchased a home in the Glass House after only being in Denver for a few days. Now that he is moved, he is so happy and knows he made a great decision.
Drinks on the terrace, overlooking the front range. Breakfast in the heart of downtown. Live your life on the pulse of the city. A place to eat, drink and be merry, to relive old memories and make new ones.
