FEATURED LISTING

DAWN HOFHEIMER

DHOFHEIMER@SLIFERDENVER.COM Transport yourself on to Mount Sanitas, Boulder Colorado: the air is crisp, leaves are falling, a coffee in your hand, and our newest broker, Dawn Hofheimer is telling you about her career, inspirations, and how she stepped foot in Denver. Dawn has been a licensed realtor since 2006 and recently joined the Slifer team in downtown Denver. Dawn has an engaging personality with a warm, sincere & approachable style; she prides herself on going the extra mile for her clients. What did you do before you found this career? I was in the health and fitness industry for over fifteen years, first as a personal trainer, then as a sales representative for two different cutting edge nutrition companies. Before going into Real Estate in 2006 I was director of sales and marketing at a high-end health club and spa. So as you can see, my career has been primarily sales oriented and I have had the satisfaction of representing products and services that have improved the quality of people’s lives in some way. I am very engaging with my clients through an approachable style that is warm and sincere. What has been the highlight of your career? It’s when I am adding value to people’s lives. I love the relationship aspect of sales and the common thread in my career background has been my passion for marketing and selling exceptional products that help people or create a greater value to their life. Greatest daily challenge? I recently relocated here from a small valley of about 5 thousand people so my daily challenge right now is adjusting to living and working in a city of approximately 3 million people. I lived in big cities and serviced large territories in my previous career but after living in a small town for several years, the transition is still a bit of a culture shock! 10 years, where will you be? In real estate, but with a little more diversity. I would like to develop business in Denver and also in an ocean environment, maybe splitting my time between Denver and Del Mar, California or Costa Rica. Inspired? I am most inspired in nature itself, specifically in the mountains, by resounding rivers, in wooded valleys and next to the ocean. Favorite movie or book? Pillars of The Earth by Ken Follett, he is my favorite British author and I have read most every book he has written. Pillars of The Earth is an amazing work of fiction that integrates factual history and vividly depicts a way of life that entailed such hardship and adversity that you actually find yourself living in the time and place of the characters.
