Spearheading a revival in figurative art, internationally renowned sculptor Richard MacDonald is committed to fostering the neo-figurative movement. His fascination with the human form and mankind's broad emotional range has inspired him to create dynamic, sensitive works, each infused with a quality that withstands the passage of time, of taste, of trend. Most recently, MacDonald has embarked upon a monumental new project of historical significance: the creation of larger than life-size suite of figures destined to be combined in a grand design for the Royal Ballet Company of England. The finished monument will celebrate the life and contributions of the founder of the Royal Ballet Company and its prestigious school, Dame Ninette de Valois. White Lodge is the proposed site of this outdoor monument, an historic private retreat of the royal family for generations, it is now the site of one of the world's most acclaimed schools of dance. Located in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach, the Gallery & Sculpture Garden is an idyllic venue for hosting corporate meetings and social gatherings. Please call the gallery at (949) 497-4988 or visit dawsoncolefineart.com. See page 13, map #110.

The Peter Blake Gallery first opened in 1993 following a philosophy that an art gallery should be more than an arts related retail space. Rather, a gallery should be an exhibition space that showcases the talent of local as well as national and international artists, bringing together the best of every aspect of the art world. Sixteen years later, the gallery continues to be a part of the Laguna Beach arts community by exhibiting local and emerging artists along side some of the most sought-after artists in the nation. The gallery and it's artists have received both regional and national critical acclaim from publications including the Los Angeles Times, OC Register, Riviera Magazine, Art News, Coast Magazine and Art in America.
