The City of McAllen hosted a one-of-akind exhibit at the McAllen Convention Center Ballroom. Under the license of the Vatican Museums, this exhibit offers the most complete and authentic r e p r o d u c t i o n o f M i c h e l a n g e l o ’s magni f ic ent c eiling f re sc oe s in combination with the Quattrocento frescoes of the Sistine Chapel to be shown outside the Vatican. According to McAllen City Manager Roy Rodriguez, McAllen has become a cultural experience leader, thanks in part to the City of McAllen’s investment in world-class facilities that are able to host a year-round calendar of events.
