The McAllen Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 66th annual banquet “Man & Woman of the Year ” Awards on Thursday, October 7 at Embassy Suites McAllen Convention Center. This year ’s honorees were Sally Fraustro Guerra and Chief Victor R. Rodriguez. They both have given a significant amount of their time to serve the McAllen community through civic involvement. They have served on boards, given countless hours of their personal time, and tirelessly continue to raise money for many organizations. The black-tie event is an unforgettable night of glamour and extravagance with the theme of “Vintage Hollywood Glamour in McAllen’’. Over 400 people attended the celebration and enjoyed an evening of live music, dinner and auctions.
