On October 14, the Valley Symphony Orchestra performed Felix Mendelssohn’s String Octet in E flat major for the Super Strings chamber event at the McAllen Per forming Arts Center. Guests enjoyed a preconcert reception and conversation with Maestro Peter Dabrowski before the performance. This exclusive preseason event was the kick-off to the Symphony’s 70th anniversary season, which includes five master work s concerts including A Touch of Frost and Star Wars.
