The “PERMA-CULTURES” Operation is an innovative and intergenerational program covering an area of 5538 square meters (taxable SDP) or 5073 square meters (administrative SDP). The project is managed by the Legendre Development Group for La Croix Rouge Habitat, who will be the overall manager. The Gary lot accommodates a wide variety of people, from young children to independent elderly individuals, with a focus on communal areas and sharing spaces. The project aims to be exemplary in its resilience and inclusion of vulnerable populations.
The République district on the Nantes Island, located south of the Création district, is close to the future CHU hospital and the southern banks of the Loire. It is a new center whose attractiveness will be as great as that of the historic center. It offers a wide range of public transportation options, reflecting a strong desire to limit cars in favor of other less space- and energy-consuming modes of transportation. The development of soft mobility is encouraged.
Thus, it is a very strong urban context that seeks to promote the city through its uses, “a city where it is good to live, work, and walk.” The future “République” district is intended, in continuation with the previous transformed sectors, to be a manifesto for a sustainable city. It sets up systems for successful cohabitation between residents, fauna, and flora. It encourages exemplary management of climate-related issues, water, and energy. It aims to limit consumption and encourage the use of ecological resources for the construction and operation of the district. The management of rainwater is also particularly demanding, prioritizing its gravitational circulation to the Loire and working on retention systems at the plot level.
Thus, the issue of neighborhood and community living is at the heart of the reflections led by the SAMOA (West Atlantic Metropolis Development Company) and the urban master planning team, particularly by promoting a programmatic and social mix of buildings and uses.

As at the time hygienist of its construction, we reformulate the humanist ambition of a healthy lifestyle, in nature, in a built environment where cultivates beauty, through the details of an architecture welcoming and sustainable.
The Olympic and Paralympic Games invite us to design a framework in which journalists will live all over the world, one place at a time festive and calm meetings to work and write. Once the Games have passed, it will become a new neighborhood, a place of destination, close to the station, and also quiet, on the Plateau preserved.
L’objectif d’une mission était de repenser les besoins et les opportunités du site situé dans le nord de Paris, à proximité de la Porte de Clignancourt - l’une des nombreuses «portes» de la ville. Fait influent est aussi son emplacement dans la zone “allée” - zone étroite entre Périphérique “intérieur” et “extérieur” (vaste contournement bruyant de Paris). Dans le passé, après le démantèlement des fortifications de la ville et l’ouverture de l’autoroute, le nouveau concept de la zone devait être introduit. Enfin, il est orienté vers l’hébergement familial et les loisirs et est rempli de HBM (les habitations à bon marché) - des complexes collectifs, des complexes d’habitation modernes et des installations sportives pas chères.
Before being a drawing we imagined this project around the values of the Art of Living, of Nature and Health. We thought of a series of places that embody these values: a cultural space, hanging orchards, a food store biological, unspoiled shelters, unique architectures.

We have imagined architectures that cultivate harmony and diversity, where buildings interact with each other and also develop CITÉ JARDIN D’AVENIR their unique features. They do this by expressing their qualities of use first, in particular the fact to enjoy the exceptional landscape and by details which make them unique works, inspired by heritage of this place. These architectures have a low carbon footprint, they are manufactured using healthy and natural materials to complete to embody the art of living in this new neighborhood, an ecological district.

L’OAC est un projet conceptuel pour le concours qui visait à trouver une stratégie pour le développement de zones situées à proximité d’aéroports sur l’exemple de l’aéroport de Oslo. L’idée est basée sur des prévisions selon lesquelles, à l’avenir, les aéroports deviendront des balises commerciales et culturelles, telles que les gares aujourd’hui. Ce processus doit être lancé grâce au développement de la technologie aérienne, à l’amélioration des problèmes de bruit et au raccourcissement de la durée des vols eux-mêmes. De plus en plus souvent, nous allons passer du temps dans le voisinage des aéroports grâce à la commodité de la faisabilité du transport.
OAC is a conceptual project for a competition that aimed to find a strategy for the development of areas located in the proximity of airports on the example of Oslo Lufthavn. The idea is based on predictions that in the future, airports are going to become commercial and cultural beacons, such as train stations today. This process is to be started thanks to the development of aerial technology, improvement of noise issues and shortening the lenght of flights themselves. More and more often we are going to spend time in the neibourhood of airports thanks to the convenience of transportation feasibility.

Dans le même temps, il offre une attraction pour les touristes et les passants récréatifs qui sont à la fois la place centrale où les visiteurs peuvent participer et observer les parcelles de production et l’anneau végétal qui “se trouve” sur le moyeu qui est la représentation de quatre saisons c’est donc peut être une “zone d’adaptation” pour les touristes venant de l’étranger. La raison derrière le choix de la forme d’un anneau est l’intention d’attirer l’attention de l’utilisateur potentiel non seulement du niveau du sol mais aussi de l’air.
At the same time, it offers an attraction for tourists and recreational passers-by which are both th central plaza where visitors can participate and observe production plots and the vegetal ring that “sits” on top of the hub which is the representation of four seasons so that is can be an “adaptation zone” for tourists traveling from abroad. The reason behind the choice of the shape of a ring is the intention to draw potential user’s attention not only from the level of the ground but also from the air.

The scale of the urban intention of the investor is immense in it’s final form so it was necessary for the representation and better understanting of the project;s potential to divide it’s development into stages predicted to take place in time within 10, 20, 50 and 100 years and finally transforming into real urban tissue and forming up a whole new city.

Ringen består av 4 drivhus-segmenter, hvor hvert segment representerer en årstid. Rommene varmes opp eller kjøles ned for å matche de ulike årstidenes temperatur, og er separert av sluser. Den delen av ringen som samsvarer med dagens sesong, åpnes ved manuelt å fjerne ETFE-membranen. Denne membranen er laget av en serie luftputer som skaper den isolasjonen som er nødvendig for drivhuset. Le projet présente la requalification urbaine et architecturale d’une ancienne friche de la période post-industrielle, qui se situe sur les berges à Glasgow. Je ssouhaite traiter la question urbaine de site, puisqu’il est issu directement de l’industrialisation. Lors de cette période nous avons pu voir que la parcelle était largement utilisée, puisque son implantation dans la ville favorisait le lien avec le réseau fluvial, mais aussi tout une typologie architecturale en lien avec la période industrielle. De par l’abandon de son activité (début XXe avec la révolution industrielle) les berges, un espace technique dépendant de cette dernière, ont été abandonnées avec le patrimoine bâti partiellement détruit, laissant une zone de friche à proximité du centre ville.
The project presents the urban and architectural requalification of a former industrial wasteland of the post-industrial period, located on the banks of Glasgow. I wish to treat the urban question of site, since it comes directly from the industrialization. During this period we could see that the plot was widely used, since its establishment in the city favored the link with the river network, but also a whole architectural typology in connection with the industrial period. Due to the abandonment of its activity (early 20th century with the industrial revolution), the banks, a technical area dependent on the latter, were abandoned with partially destroyed built heritage, leaving a fallow area near the city center.
Project directly affects the themes of changing needs of the industry. My goal is to highlight the fact that today’s industry relies heavily on technology, the exchange of knowledge and information, as well as the cooperation of representatives from different areas of development. As a result, we are now witnessing a gradual change in the typologies of industrial architecture. More and more often, we see the disintegration of the solid into smaller elements, forming teams, campuses and technology parks. These types of zones aim to integrate different users (by their characters and spheres of life).

Mon objectif est de souligner le fait que l’industrie actuelle repose principalement sur les technologies, l’échange de connaissances et d’informations, de même que la coopération des représentants de différents domaines du développement. En conséquence, nous assistons maintenant à un changement progressif dans les typologies de l’architecture industrielle. De plus en plus souvent, nous voyons la désintégration du solide en éléments plus petits, formant des équipes, des campus et des parcs technologiques. Ces types de zones visent à intégrer différents utilisateurs (de part leurs caractères et sphères de vie).

The logic intervention is to bring together these four key elements of the project. Through the activity area that I install on the site, I shape a new topic of interest that characterizes the plot. The definition of the project can be read according to two filters: urban development on a territorial scale and the city as a catalyst and on the architectural and programmatic scale as a site link. The project is an act of establishment of the first step of investigation in search of this urban development, on both banks: the old wasteland in connection with the bank on the other side of the river.
Ma logique d’intervention veut réunir ces quatre éléments déterminants du projet. De par la zone d’activités que j’installe sur le site, j’en façonne un nouveau sujet d’accroche qui caractérise la parcelle. Le définition du projet peut se lire selon deux filtres: le developpement urbain à une échelle territoriale et de la ville comme pôle catalyseur et à l’échelle architecturale et programmatique comme liant du site.
A ce moment la, cette nouvelle zone attractive serait disponible non seulement pour les utilisteurs des espaces de travail, mais aussi les passants, les visiteurs. Elle est ouverte à tous et pour tous, en créant des séquences spatiales et aménagement du sol : ce dénominateur commun topographique vient façonner le socle des différentes typologies architecturales et programmatique, et offre la cohésion entre la pluralités des personnes qui vont venir profiter du site: celles concernées par le travail et celles extérieures.Différents programmes se joignent aux coworking et espaces de recherche technologique, comme une salle de sport, une crèche, un restaurant polyvalent, et un espace d’information - duquel des bateaux et kayaks peuvent être loués grâce à l’installation d’un ponton ou pont sur l’eau.
At this time, this new attractive area would be available not only for users of workspaces, but also passers-by, visitors. It is open to all and for all, by creating spatial sequences and soil management: this common topographic denominator shapes the base of the various architectural and programmatic typologies, and offers the cohesion between the pluralities of the people who will come to benefit from the site: those concerned by work and those outside. A programatic mixity joins coworking and technological research spaces with utilities open to the city such as a gym, a nursery, a multipurpose restaurant, and an information area - from which boats and kayaks can be rented by the installation of a pontoon or bridge over the water.

Combien y a-t-il de France dans la France ? A l’heure de ma mondialisation omniprésente, nous perdons de plus en plus souvent les valeurs traditionnelles et nous oublions de cultiver notre identité, c’est justement la principale idée pour laquelle notre projet est de créer un espace totalement français qui par sa forme évoquera ce dont la France peut légitimement être fière dans l’arène internationale.
How much of the real France is there in France nowadays? Now, in the era of globalisation covering the whole world, we tend to forget about an importance of our identity and value of traditional heritage more and more often. This is why creating the place that would represent the French spirit at all it’s best, became the main aim when defining our principles and as a result - designing our project. The shape of the structure reflects wavy and undulated landscape of wine hills in the Champagne.

Nous proposons de construire la structure avec des préfabriqués ondulés en béton armé qui non seulement transféreront de la manière optimale les charges des formes irrégulières , mais qui formeront par eux-mêmes des sortes de pots dans lesquels il sera possible d’intégrer de la végétation, par exemple des vignes, grâce à quoi notre bâtiment deviendra en quelque sorte la vigne de Paris.

The wavy shape of prefabricated segments that the structure is to be made of is not only efficient from the point of view of construction (it increaces its tensile strength) but also is a way to make the best place for planting fruits, vegetables or herbs because of pits that can be easily filled with soil (up to 80cm!)

The building, in spite of being covered by footways and plants is well illuminated thanks to location. Almost all windows in the building face south so the sun can reach the inside easily at any part of the day.

The brief for our studio was to imagine a world without cars. Under this theoretical umbrella, we had to explore the issue of segregation. The subject of urban segregation is complex and difficult to grasp. The first thing that comes to mind for many people is social problems; segregation that cuts along racial and economic lines, for example. But typologies of segregation also follow physical lines. Whatever typology you pursue, segregation is always a question of forced separation. In the urban context, elements like highways that physically divide communities are an obvious culprit. The typologies of the architectural fabric itself may be less obvious, but potentially more interesting. It is easy to see how segregation has accumulated in the urban fabric of cities due to the appeal of the individual automobile. How can this segregation be eliminated? How could cities be redesigned if they did not have to accommodate cars? What would happen to the monolithic infrastructure that isolates people and degrades the pedestrian experience?
Cities around the world house industrial districts. Once the economic engines of heavy industry on the outskirts of the city, many now languish as they are absorbed into constantly expanding urban landscapes. And while post-industrial cities have developed around their heavy industrial infrastructure, industrial districts, once proud blue-collar neighborhoods, struggle with their identity and place in the modern world. Impenetrable and monolithic blocks act as an architectural fabric of segregation between and within urban communities. These spaces may be ripe for intervention, but can they be reimagined without sacrificing the heritage and civic pride that underpins their communities for generations? How can these communities rejuvenate the urban fabric with new connectivity and breathe life into deteriorating industrial neighborhoods? Can this be done while avoiding displacement and gentrification? These questions and many more form the basis of this studio project; far from cars, and far from segregation.

“After the COVID-19 pandemic, we can now clearly see the trends and tendencies towards which our world is heading. From teleworking to internal migration... We, urban planners, have many fields to explore to meet our constantly evolving needs. One of them is undoubtedly the home delivery system. A large part of society is clearly tempted by the convenience of online shopping and there is nothing surprising about that. However, we should ask ourselves a question about the ethical aspects of our daily habits.
Large companies, such as Amazon, are building their immense distribution centers all over the world, on the outskirts of urban areas. They are large enough to destroy the entire ecosystem of
the surrounding area, depriving the area of wildlife, flora, and possibly healthy living conditions. And of course, these lands could be used in many different ways, probably better and more sustainable.
A strategic planning workshop I participated in pushed us to identify, define and describe the existing problems in our world and to bring obvious solutions to complex problems. Our thinking led us to the idea of combining two infrastructures: the public transport network and the individual delivery system. The goal is to make our voice heard on unnecessary and needlessly practical solutions in our environment and to encourage thinking about intelligent alternatives that could help us and our environment live a better and healthier future.”
Why not to link two services at the same time?

En été 2019, j’ai participé Parametric Summer School qui avait lieu à Gdynia, en Pologne. Quatre groupes des architectes travaillaient sur les sujet diverses, liés au design et développement paramétriques suivis principalement par la fabrication numérique.
In the summer of 2019 I had a chance to participate in Parametric Summer School that had place in Gdynia, in Poland. An event organised by young enthousiasts of parametric architecture and fluent exchange of knowledge and skills. Four groups of architects were working on various aspects of parametric concepts, material optimisation and digital fabrication.
Cette année, tous les sujets étaient pour la plupart directement liés à des problèmes ou aspects environnementaux. L’entropie était au cœur de nos préoccupations au cours de cette semaine. Il s’agit des comportements naturels observés dans la nature. À l’ère du développement des algorithmes, ceux du domaine de l’intelligence artificielle sont extrêmement prometteurs. Cependant, l’intelligence peut prendre des formes loin de l’être humain, telle que l’intelligence distribuée. Les organismes qui forment des troupeaux, des essaims ou des écoles, malgré la simplicité de construction, créent collectivement des structures spatiales avancées - l’environnement. That year all the projects were more or less directly connected with environmentas issues in our contemporary world. For our group, the center of our interest was entropy. We studied it mostly be analysing natural behaviours of various actors observable in nature. In the era of parametric optimisation and algorythyms, those working on the basis of artificial intelligence are particularily ispiring. Nevertheless, the AI doesn’t have to have a human face as we tend to imagine. All living organisms forming groups and heards are always driven by their inborn intelligence that even so simple defines their decisions and behaviors.

En utilisant des objets distribués dans la facon intelligente, il est possible de concevoir par la suite un système qui, dans le processus de simulation, puisse générer des formes spatiales avancées imprévisibles. Nous avons essayé de trouver leur réflexion sur un algorithme inspiré de la nature qu’il est possible de créer dans l’environnement Grasshopper.
By using optimally distributed objects in an intelligent way, we can then conceive a system that, in the proces of simulation, will generate extremely advanced spatial forms. During the workshop, we tried to find a link between those algorythyms inspired by nature and whatever is possible to create in Grasshopper environment by following and reproducing those patterns.
Notre objectif était de concevoir non seulement la forme mais surtout le système. Élément très basique, mais facilement répétitif, nécessitant une conception intelligente, notre méthode d’assemblage nous a permis de créer une structure complexe composée uniquement de deux types d’éléments simples. En conséquence, nous avons fabriqué une structure polyvalente qui peut, par la suite, être utilisée dans des installations architecturales à plus ou moins grande échelle.
Our goal was to conceive not only a form but also, and especially, a system. One, basic element, in a simple, repetitive way, our assembly method permitted us to create a very complex, polyvalent structure that could eventually find many purpose, for instance for art, or urgent structures in both small and big scale.
