Sencillo Shawlette
This shawl is perfect for those who love garter stitch and want something simple but just complex enough to keep you interested. The contrasting vertical stripes add interest and the simple garter stitch lace border gives it a nice touch of lace without being too fussy. The shawl can be worked in two shapes: a long slender slightly curved shawlette and a triangular shawl. Directions for both are included. Also the border can be knit as you go or added on later.
