LOVE
YOURSELF Loving yourself is one of the greatest gifts of all time. How we treat ourselves determines how others treat us.
Loving yourself starts with drawing boundaries. Making others respect you is a sign that self love and respect is present.
We must never put our happiness in the hands of others. That is a very selfish act that will surely lead to disappointment on both sides. Noone can do anything to make you happy. Being happy is a state of mind and can only be acquired by the owner. There are simply no exceptions to that rule.
Start today putting yourself first and see how rewarding and satisfying it is to honor thyself. I promise when you change how you treat you, everyone else will no other choice but to follow suit. Give it a try, you will be happy you did.

Come out, come out, whenever you're ready. It's natural for friendships to come and go as you change and learn more about yourself. If it's time to move on, let your friendship drift apart gradually, rather than fighting. Remember, Levine says, “A best friend today can easily become a frenemy tomorrow.” “You can downgrade the friendship by being less available and spending less time with the person,” Levine says. “This can be difficult if the decision is one-sided, but it's important not to hurt or blame the other person. You have to think about how it will affect other mutual friendships. When you dump someone, there's no going back.”

MANIFESTING, LAW OF ATTRACTION, CREATING YOUR REALITY, AND BEING IN JOY by Takara Some people on a spiritual path go into a state of simply allowing, simply accepting whatever is and whatever comes without having any desires. There is tranquility and peace in acceptance and allowing. And as someone who was once under great stress in the corporate world, I can truly appreciate having joy and peace as the only goal. For some of us though, we are here to relish the human experience … wanting to experience all the textures, tastes, feelings, and creativity available here. I am all about “being” in a perpetual state of joy, as well as the state I call the 4 Noble C’s (calm, clear, confident, and Divinely connected), and to continue to grow and evolve, rising and expanding in consciousness and awareness. At the same time, I know I am here to consciously create my reality. Not out of selfishness or greed or to do harm to others, but to savor the fact that I am (and you are) a spark of Divinity (God) having a human experience and the ability to create our reality is innate to our true nature.

10 Great Tips on How to Love, Honor, and Appreciate Everyone!
Publication name | Page 00
It is not always easy to find the “good” in others or to genuinely learn to like and appreciate everyone.I have a set of beliefs that makes this easier, or at least worth attempting to do. These beliefs or realizations are based on years of study, experience, and what I call “divine revelation (they come to me spontaneously in meditation and at other times when I am quiet and at peace)”:We are all emanations of the same Divine Source. You can say we are all children of God or spirits inside a body having a human experience or whatever words resonate most with you. The bottom line is, that spark of Divinity inside each of us is worthy of respect.Regardless of how they are acting, this is a little saying I “received” one day: They are doing the best they can with what they’ve got, whether its what they’ve experienced or what they’ve been taught.Bullies have typically been bullied. A very famous comment is “Hurt people, hurt people.” Any act of unkindness is typically a sign that the person has been seriously mistreated. I find it easier to feel compassion knowing this. Our job is to love, honor, accept, and appreciate everyone. There are a multitude of reasons for this. One of those reasons is that if we do that to others, then others will do it to us – the Law of Cause and Effect. Love, honor, acceptance, and appreciation is what everyone is seeking and deserves. Attempting to do that for everyone is my version of following The Golden Rule.Everything in life happens for a reason. Any discomfort going on in the moment is about learning something about who you are (the shadow self) and the opportunity to heal whatever needs to be healed. It is never about the other person and what they are doing or saying. How are you reacting (and why)?
Is it showing you judgments, expectations, “shoulds,” and other things that definitely need to be healed and let go of.Very similar to the last one … all is as it should be.Our job is to embrace each moment, not fight against it. I have MANY articles about how to flow with change rather than resist.Every moment of every day is on purpose. Your soul is here on a spiritual adventure to evolve and grow. Every moment, every encounter, every situation, every person is there because your soul called them there for you to learn something, experience something, etc. Instead of being angry at the person or situation, fighting it, wishing it was different, go deeper and ask “why,” what can I learn, what can I heal, what can I let go of, how is this thought, belief, or judgment holding me back from becoming the person I am intending (on a soul level) to be? Joy is your natural state of being. Feeling anything less than that is an opportunity to learn and grow. The more out of sorts, angry, sad, riled up over things you are, the more easily something deeply buried is to find, heal, and release. And finally one of the other sayings I received through divine revelation: You have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. In order to step into your true Magnificence, you have to get outside of your comfort zone. It is in those moments of discomfort, when you are feeling stretched, pushed, and uncomfortable, that the greatest positive change is possible.I would not be a bestselling author if I had not moved beyond my discomfort to take the actions required to do so.I would not be nearly as healthy, happy, or have such a joyfilled adventurous life if I had not gone WAY outside my comfort zone on numerous occasions to try new things, study new things, look at everything from a completely different perspective, or do and say things that were uncomfortable.

This city, located directly on the northeastern Mediterranean coast of Spain, has a rich history, having been under Roman, then Frank law before declaring its independence. In 1992, Barcelona gained international recognition by hosting the Olympic games which brought a massive upturn in its tourism industry. This had the effect of changing the city in ways that are still felt today with neighbourhoods renovated (and in some cases leveled) and the intense focus of modern design permeating all aspects of life in Barcelona from public buildings to something as simple as a park bench or an event poster.
One of the most famous and breathtaking locations to visit in Barcelona the most famous building in the entire city and its landmark, La Sagrada Familia. Although incomplete, the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in November 2010 was consecrated and proclaimed a minor basilica by Pope Benedict XVI. August is probably the busiest time in Barcelona; at the same time about 10% of shops and restaurants can be found closed from mid-August to early September, when the owners go on vacations. Spanish is spoken almost universally in Barcelona, but the Catalan language has also made a comeback due to intensive efforts in the school systems in recent years.Catalan is understood by 95% of residents, spoken by 72%.

dealing with parents
Do you ever feel like the mature one in your relationship with your parents? If so, you are like countless others who are hurt and frustrated by their emotionally immature parents. It is difficult to deal with parents who have not developed enough empathy to care sufficiently about the feelings of others. These immature parents focus on their own interests to the point where they make their children feel inadequate, unseen, and chronically guilty. While the emotionally immature parent may act like a normal adult in the outside world, their self-involved and controlling behavior comes out full force at home. They ignore their children’s emotional needs because they are focused on their own consuming desires for attention and control. As a result, their children end up feeling insignificant and emotionally alone.

"like small children, emotionally immature parents are fixated on their immediate demands." Like small children, emotionally immature parents are fixated on their immediate demands. They expect others to anticipate their needs first. They undermine their children’s confidence and self-esteem by acting like the child can never do enough to make them happy. Their children become anxiously vigilant as they try to avoid the emotional backlash that comes if they don’t guess correctly what their parent wants.

"Invest in your travel fund and see the world as early as you can."
Miranda Lopez
While you’re young, you should travel. You should take the time to see the world and taste the fullness of life. Walk the streets of Paris. See the Great Wall of China. Get your heart broken by the “killing fields” of Cambodia. Swim through the Great Barrier Reef. These are the moments that define the rest of your life; they’re the experiences that stick with you forever. Traveling will change you like little else can. It will put you in places that will force you to care for issues that are bigger than you. You will begin to understand that the world is both very large and very small.

"IT'S NOT ONLY DELICIOUS, BUT IT'S A HEALTHIER OPTION FOR US ALL" Italian cuisine has developed through centuries of social and political changes, with roots stretching to antiquity. Significant changes occurred with the discovery of the New World and the introduction of potatoes, tomatoes, bell peppers and maize, now central to the cuisine but not introduced in quantity.

Italian cuisine is noted for its regional diversity, abundance of difference in taste, and is one of the most popular in the world, with influences abroad. Italian cuisine is characterized by its simplicity, with many dishes having only four to eight ingredients. Italian cooks rely chiefly on the quality of the ingredients rather than on elaborate preparation. Ingredients and dishes vary by region and by country as well. Many dishes that were once regional, however, have proliferated with variations throughout the country. Frequently nowadays long distance hikes (walking tours) are undertaken along long distance paths, including the National Trails in England and Wales, the National Trail System in the United States and the Grande RandonnĂŠe (France), Grote Routepaden, or Lange-afstand-wandelpaden (Holland), Grande Rota (Portugal), Gran Recorrido (Spain) is a network of long-distance footpaths in Europe, mostly in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain. There are extensive networks in other European countries of long distance trails, as well as in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Nepal, and to a lesser extent other Asiatic countries, like Turkey, Israel, and Jordan. In the Alps of Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland, Germany, France, and Italy walking tours are often made from 'hut-to-hut', using an extensive system of mountain huts. In the late 20th-century there has been a proliferation of official and unofficial long distance routes, which mean that hikers now are more likely to refer to using a long distance way (Britain), trail (USA), The Grande RandonnĂŠe (France), etc., than setting out on a walking tour. Early examples of long distance paths, include the Appalachian Trail in the USA and the Pennine Way in Britain. Pilgrimage routes are now treated, by some walkers, as long distance routes, and the route taken by the British National Trail the North Downs Way closely follows that of the Pilgrims' Way to Canterbury.

An early example of an interest in hiking in the United States, is Abel Crawford and his son Ethan's clearing of a trail to the summit of Mount Washington, New Hampshire in 1819. This 8.5 mile path is the oldest continually used hiking trail in the United States. The influence of British and European Romanticism reached North America through the transcendentalist movement, and both Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–82) and Henry David Thoreau (1817-62) were important influences on the outdoors movement in North America. Thoreau's writing on nature and on walking include the posthumously published "Walking" (1862)".
In the United States, Canada, the Republic of Ireland, and United Kingdom, hiking means walking outdoors on a trail, or off trail, for recreational purposes. A day hike refers to a hike that can be completed in a single day. However, in the United Kingdom, the word walking is also used, as well as rambling, while walking in mountainous areas is calledÂ

Drink often to stay hydrated. Carry enough water for the day and your pack will get lighter as the day wears on. Small snacks often will keep your energy level up rather than waiting for a big lunch meal after you've emptied your body's reserves.

ALONG THE
COASTLINE A coastline or a seashore is the area where land meets the sea or ocean, or a line that forms the boundary between the land and the ocean or a lake. A precise line that can be called a coastline cannot be determined due to the Coastline paradox. The term coastal zone is a region where interaction of the sea and land processes occurs. Both the terms coast and coastal are often used to describe a geographic location or region; for example, New Zealand's West Coast, or the East and West Coasts of the United States. Edinburgh for example is a city on the coast of Scotland. A pelagic coast refers to a coast which fronts the open ocean, as opposed to a more sheltered coast in a gulf or bay. A shore, on the other hand, can refer to parts of the land which adjoin any large body of water, including oceans (sea shore) and lakes (lake shore). Similarly, the somewhat related term "[Stream bed/bank]" refers to the land alongside or sloping down to a river (riverbank) or to a body of water smaller than a lake. "Bank" is also used in some parts of the world to refer to an artificial ridge of earth intended to retain the water of a river or pond; in other places this may be called a levee. While many scientific experts might agree on a common definition of the term "coast", the delineation of the extents of a coast differ according to jurisdiction, with many scientific and government authorities in various countries differing for economic and social policy reasons. According to the UN atlas, 44% of people live within 150 kilometres (93 miles) of the sea. Tides often determine the range over which sediment is deposited or eroded. Areas with high tidal ranges allow waves to reach farther up the shore, and areas with lower tidal ranges produce deprossosition at a smaller elevation interval. The tidal range is influenced by the size and shape of the coastline. Tides do not typically cause erosion by themselves; however, tidal bores can erode as the waves surge up river estuaries from the ocean. Waves erode coastline as they break on shore releasing their energy; the larger the wave the more energy it releases and the more sediment it moves. Coastlines with longer shores have more room for the waves to disperse.
SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco was founded on June 29, 1776, when colonists from Spain established Presidio of San Francisco at the Golden Gate and Mission San Francisco de AsĂs named for St. Francis of Assisi a few miles away. The California Gold Rush of 1849 brought rapid growth, making it the largest city on the West Coast at the time. San Francisco became a consolidated city-county in 1856.After threequarters of the city was destroyed by the 1906 earthquake and fire, San Francisco was quickly rebuilt, hosting the Panama-Pacific International Exposition nine years later. After the war, the confluence of returning servicemen, massive immigration, liberalising attitudes, along with the rise of the "hippie" counterculture, the Sexual Revolution, the Peace Movement growing from opposition to United States involvement in the Vietnam War, and other factors led to the Summer of Love and the gay rights movement, cementing San Francisco as a centre of liberal activism.
The system operates both a combined light rail and subway system, the Muni Metro, and a large bus network. Additionally, it runs a historic streetcar line, which runs on Market Street from Castro Street to Fisherman's Wharf. It also operates the famous cable cars, which have been designated as a National Historic Landmark.
WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD
SEEING HEAVENLY BODIES, AS A WAY TO APPRECIATE OUR MAJESTIC UNIVERSE
The Greek philosopher Democritus proposed that the bright band on the night sky known as the Milky Way might consist of distant stars. Aristotle, however, believed the Milky Way to be caused by "the ignition of the fiery exhalation of some stars that were large, numerous and close together" and that the "ignition takes place in the upper part of the atmosphere, in the region of the World that is continuous with the heavenly motions." The Neoplatonist philosopher Olympiodorus the Younger was critical of this view, arguing that if the Milky Way is sublunary (situated between Earth and the Moon) it should appear different at different times and places on Earth, and that it should have parallax, which it does not. In his view, the Milky Way is celestial. Actual proof of the Milky Way consisting of many stars came in 1610 when the Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei used a telescope to study the Milky Way and discovered that it is composed of a huge number of faint stars. In 1750 the English astronomer Thomas Wright, in his An original theory or new hypothesis of the Universe, speculated (correctly) that the galaxy might be a rotating body of a huge number of stars held together by gravitational forces, akin to the Solar System but on a much larger scale.
SEE THE WORLD FROM A HIGHER
PERSPECTIVE WE CLIMB THE HEIGHTS OF THIS EPIC MOUNTAIN, AND GAINED A DEEPER SENSE OF LIFE ON EARTH A mountain is a large landform that stretches above the surrounding land in a limited area, usually in the form of a peak. A mountain is generally steeper than a hill. Mountains are formed through tectonic forces or volcanism. These forces can locally raise the surface of the earth. Mountains erode slowly through the action of rivers, weather conditions, and glaciers. A few mountains are isolated summits, but most occur in huge mountain ranges. High elevations on mountains produce colder climates than at sea level. These colder climates strongly affect the ecosystems of mountains: different elevations have different plants and animals. Because of the less hospitable terrain and climate, mountains tend to be used less for agriculture and more for resource extraction and recreation, such as mountain climbing. The highest mountain on Earth is Mount Everest in the Himalayas of Asia. The highest known mountain on any planet in the Solar System is Olympus Mons on Mars.
MIRACLES CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU ARE CALM, CLEAR,CONFIDENT AND CONNECTED I talk about the Noble C’s a lot. In fact, it is I who decided these words all starting with C were noble. They are the words I use to describe the state of being in which everything is in flow, in harmony, and everything you do comes from a place of inner balance, heart-centeredness, and love..It is in that space that every miracle in my life has occurred. It is in that space that intuition is enhanced and your ability to notice it is heightened. When you follow those nudges from the Still Small Voice within, truly amazing things can happen in your life.I always smile when I suddenly realize that something seemingly miraculous just happened which is in direct alignment with the things I desire and that it occurred because I followed my inner wisdom. There have been a whole host of those events lately. Whenever these things happen, it lets me know I’m aligned with the Divine and those Noble C’s are fully functioning at the moment. Three things come to mind immediately when I consider the latest smile-inducing events. The first began a year or so ago when I was being interviewed on a radio broadcast. Practically every radio interview opportunity I’ve received happened because I followed my intuition and showed up somewhere online at precisely the right moment to seize an opportunity. That has become quite commonplace in my life. I’m not saying that to brag. I’m saying I’ve done the work, even though the work is never completely done, and I’m reaping the benefits of having made true personal and spiritual growth a priority. On with this story …As is the case with many of my interviews, it went well and the interviewer and I developed a bond. Krystal and I talked privately for quite a while when the interview was over. We discovered we had an enormous amount of things in common from developing our own energy healing tools to being techno-geeks with business and engineering backgrounds. We decided we should stay in touch.
life happens and you move on and forget the things that have come before. This is particularly true of creatives because we live so fully in the moment and in whatever creation we are developing. Then suddenly, she crossed my mind and I felt the inner nudge to contact her. We scheduled a phone appointment for 2 p.m. We were engrossed in another extraordinary conversation talking about numerous topics when suddenly my phone battery began to die. When I looked at the time, I was shocked. I said, “This can’t be the time can it?” She was as shocked as I was. It was 5:30. I had to be at a dinner meeting in 45 minutes and the drive would take me 30 minutes that. So we had to hang up immediately. Ah … it had been a wonderful connection, the kind that feeds your soul and makes you smile knowing you have yet another soul sister out there in the Universe. Somewhere in the conversation, we talked about her healing symbols and my elixirs. I had just started working on the creation of a protection grid and she mentioned a symbol she had “received” for protection. We decided to put them together in a package.
And … just like the Essence of Sound collaboration I have with Jonathan Goldman, where I’ve infused his music into essence form to take all the energy much deeper into the body and out into the energy field, I’ll be infusing several of her symbols into essence form. If I had called her earlier, I would not yet have the protective grid going and we might not have even considered a collaboration. It’s all in the timing and it’s all about intuition knowing precisely when the timing is right. Event number two started when I visited Yogaville in the spring. I so rarely get to see my dear friends, Jonathan and Andi Goldman. They are on the road a lot and live in Colorado. I’m now living on the East Coast. So it is wonderful when they come to teach at Yogaville in Virginia because I get to see them for an entire weekend. This year on the last day of the workshop, I was sitting in the dining hall at breakfast having a conversation with a woman who lives at Yogaville. The conversation turned to dolphins. Everyone always wants to know how I got involved with them. My typical response is that they showed up spontaneously when I learned to meditate – which is true. But when responding to this woman’s inquiry, my inner knowing was to mention the medicine wheel and the book I was using to create it. I asked her if she had ever heard of Sun Bear and Wabun Wind. She just looked at me and smiled saying she had studied with Sun Bear. Of course! Of course, the Universe would have me say something about which she is deeply connected. She invited me to come to see her medicine wheel. So after lunch, when the program was over, she and I went to her lovely home and walked the wheel. Later on, Jonathan and Andi also came for a visit and several of us sang songs while playing a big ceremonial drum. It made for a glorious afternoon. She had invited me back for a visit, but I had not felt prompted to contact her again until very recently. Once again, I had an inner knowing that I should call. We had a lovely conversation and the next thing I know, I am being invited there to co-facilitate a Goddess weekend – something I’ve been wanting to do for ages. We are planning it for Equinox, which is coming up soon. The final event happened at a recent Not Back to School Picnic for homeschoolers. It’s an annual event that I mostly attend to see the moms I’ve developed friendships with over the years of homeschooling in Virginia. My son and his best friend are older than the other kids. They would be happy just to hang out together without all the others but agreed to come because I wanted to see my friends. While there, I saw a friend of mine I haven’t seen in ages. She had lived in Colorado and was now living in the Blue Ridge Mountains in an area I consider to be the most beautiful in Virginia. She and I have gone hiking together and enjoy sharing stories about our spiritual adventures. Somehow in the conversation, she mentioned that she would love to have gatherings at her home because she had so much space. I’ve never been to her home, so I said, “You have space?” What a delightful surprise that was. I’ve wanted to do workshops in or around the town where she lives for almost 20 years. I’ve not actually pursued the idea because I rarely spend time there and didn’t know of any facilities or people to contact. We are talking about a gathering. If I hadn’t followed my intuition to go to the picnic, the conversation might never have happened. Many people are under the false impression that all you have to do is get clear about what you want, do some visualizing, writing, or verbalizing of those desires, and they suddenly manifest. That is only true if you are calm, clear, confident, and connected … AND take action on the inner promptings you receive. It takes a fair amount of work to get into that space. You have to constantly “skim the lake” as my beloved teacher Stuart Wilde used to say – being ever vigilant of your energy and your mental focus. You have to be quite a spiritual warrior from that perspective.Have a glorious day,
BENIFITS OF Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. (1) According to the International Center for Reiki Training, the practice is based on the idea that we all have an unseen “life force energy” flowing through our bodies. (2) A Reiki practitioner gently moves her hands just above or on the client’s clothed body, helping reduce stress and promote healing by encouraging a healthy flow of energy. According to a 2007 survey conducted by the National Institutes of Health, 1.2 million adults and 161,000 children in the United States received energy healing therapy like Reiki in the previous year, and Reiki is now used by a growing number of Americans to help with relaxation, anxiety, pain management, and depression, according to a study in March–April 2017 issue of Holistic Nursing Practice. ALL SPIRITUAL PATHS
LEAD TO LOVE BY TAKARA
Some of us are inspired (in spirit) / led / guided to experience and know various paths/teachings / belief systems … while others stay on a single road and, over time, keep rising higher and higher in consciousness and awareness.I believe it all starts with the true desire, the deep commitment, that arises from within to seek truth and enlightenment. Once the conscious mind has embraced that concept, the Higher Self (I Am Presence) of the individual leads to ideas and experiences that soul wishes to have in order to grow and evolve as it intended before it incarnated. Sadly, many get stuck in the dogma and fear taught by various religions and belief systems, which prevents them from evolving. They get stuck in their own issues of shame, blame, and victimhood, which again keeps them from evolving.A true mystic (seeker of truth and enlightenment), will never allow a particular belief system, or self-imposed limitation, stymie them from evolving or rising in vibration, consciousness, and awareness, achieving a state of perpetual peace, joy, and love in the process. It takes commitment and courage though, and the willingness to break away from the crowd, potentially alienating friends and family in the process. Those who “arrive,” regardless of the path, always speak of love as the key to everything.Jesus taught that.

Self Realized spiritual guru’s like Yogananada and Satchidananda taught that.My metaphysical mentor, Stuart Wilde, taught that.I’m not saying Stuart was an Avatar or Self Realized individual. Although he very well could have been considering his truly extraordinary abilities and insight. Deciding if another is enlightened is definitely not my job. Stuart often said, “If they say they are, they aren’t.” LOL. But Stuart had definitely achieved a high level in vibration and awareness and his teachings helped me break free from a great many things. Each of these individuals came to “truth” from very different paths. Yet they all reach the same conclusion. Eventually all spiritual paths lead to love.Jesus arrived at his teachings and beliefs through the Jewish tradition. Yogananada and Satchidananda were raised and trained in eastern philosophy. Stuart was a modern-day Taoist and studied a great deal of Druid and Celtic mysticism. Regardless, all these paths led to the same place.Love is the thing: to love self, God (by whatever name), others, the earth and all her creatures. It begins within.
