Inflammation
Are the foods you’re eating causing long-term problems? Inflammation is the body’s response to infection, injury or disease. And while it can be helpful, inflammation can also stick around even when there is nothing threatening your body. Symptoms of long-term inflammation can include body pain, fatigue, insomnia, depression, anxiety, gastrointestinal problems, weight gain and frequent infections. Research has shown that food can play a role in both helping and hindering inflammation, and knowing which foods fall into which category can be beneficial if you’re battling inflammation.
