REGISTRATION STEPS
STEP 1 – Register for your class and membership Register online or in person at Brennan Park Recreation Centre for gymnastics classes. squamish.ca/rec
Select and pay for a Squamish Gymnastics Annual Membership at the time of registration (valid Sept 1, 2022-Aug 31, 2023). Memberships are mandatory and non-refundable. (Not required if you purchased a full membership in Fall 2022)
STEP 2 – Complete “Individual Membership Registration Form”
You can find the form on squamish.ca/rec. Ensure all personal information has been included and the form is signed. You can ignore the boxes in the middle of the form. Email form to: squamishgymnastics@hotmail.com
STEP 3 – Complete “Assumption of Risks/Waiver”
The Assumption of Risks/Waiver is a digital form and can be found on squamish.ca/rec. Complete the form with your child’s information.
Select ‘Squamish Gymnastics’ from the list of clubs in the drop-down menu.
STEP 4 - FOR PARENT & TOT GYMNASTICS ONLY
Complete a separate digital Assumption of Risks/Waiver for any adult that will be entering the gym or accompanying your child to gymnastics.
These waivers must be completed in the adult’s own name (not the child’s).
Only one adult per child permitted in the gym at a time, but you may alternate, we will keep waivers on file.

Exploration movement and play in a safe and social environment. Physical and emotional literacy are the foundation of parent and tot programming designed for children under five. Participants and their parent or caregiver will take part in activities and experiences at their own individual pace while forming essential movement, imagination and social fundamentals for structured and unstructured play.

Exploration and discovery of fundamental movement through imaginative play.

ARENA AND AQUATIC
The arena at Brennan Park Recreation Centre provides ice time for hockey, figure skating, skills training and leisure skating. Drop in for a public skate or choose a quiet time to supervise and support your skater-in-training. Skate rentals are available upon arrival for adults, children and youth. Brennan Park Aquatic Centre is home to one of the cleanest and most accessible pool facilities in the Sea to Sky corridor. Learn more about our pool features, swim lessons, public swims and shared pool spaces and lifeguard-swimmer ratios at squamish.ca/pool.

PUBLIC SKATE
Everyone is welcome! Come and meet up with friends and socialize while skating in this fun environment. Skate patrol are on the ice to supervise and support skaters. No strollers on the ice during this time.
FAMILY SKATE
For parents and children to skate together in a slower-paced setting. Children must be accompanied by a paid adult. Skate aids and strollers with clean wheels are welcome. Skate patrol staff are on the ice to supervise and support families.
PARENT & CHILD SKATE
Come practice fundamental skating skills in a fun, relaxed environment. Skate aids and strollers with clean wheels are welcome. Adults must be with their children on the ice. Ice may be shared with Recreation Programs.
TOONIE SKATES
These are little snippets of ice time for anyone to come have a skate. Children under 19 years must be supervised. Adults must be directly supervising their children. No hockey sticks or pucks permitted. Ice may be shared with Recreation programs.
ADULT DROP-IN HOCKEY (19+)
A chance to drop in and work on some hockey skills. Maximum of 20 players plus two goalies (goalies are free). Full gear required. Participants must be at least 19 years of age.
ADULT DROP-IN STICK & PUCK (19+)
Helmets, gloves and ice hockey stick required. No goalies or scrimmages. Work on your skating skills in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Participants must be at least 19 years of age. This is a slowerpaced program so please be courteous of all participants.
OVERTIME HOCKEY FOR 60Y+
Overtime Hockey is an ice time for players 60y+ to get together and enjoy a low-key hockey game. Full gear required.
Thank you to all swimmers and parents for their patience and understanding this Fall as we transitioned to the new program. Together, we all made it work for children who had been accidentally registered in the wrong level.
Starting in January, if a child has been registered in the wrong level, one of our supervisors will speak with the parent and the child will have to be withdrawn.
If you haven’t taken swim lessons with us since July 2022, please come talk with us about the correct level for your child.
