REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Trip registration will be taken only when accompanied by payment. All trips are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Trip itineraries are subject to change without prior notice. Register By: Mail, Phone, Online or In-Office Acceptable Payments: Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard or Discover Registrations are non-transferable. Should a cancellation occur, those on the trip’s waiting list will be contacted first to fill the opening.
PAYMENT INFORMATION:
Day Trips Day trips/BINGOS that cost $50 or less: Full balance due at time of registration. Deposits: $10 non-refundable deposit must be received at registration. Cancellation: Cancelling less than 14 days prior to the trip will not receive a refund. Participants cancelling more than 14 days prior to the trip will receive a refund minus a $10 administration fee. Extended Trips: Deposit: $50 non-refundable deposit must be received at registration. Cancellation: Cancellation policy will vary with each extended trip depending on the vendors and timelines involved with that particular trip. Check each individual extended trip for the cancellation policy. Final Payments: Individuals are responsible for paying each trip’s remaining balance on time. Reminders are not sent out. Remaining balance for Day Trips are due one month before the scheduled date. “Balance due by” dates are listed under each trip’s description in this brochure. Explore Historic Edwardsville
Historic Edwardsville is known to be the third oldest city in Illinois, first settled in 1805, and we are going to spend the day exploring it! We will take a tour of Goshen Coffee Company that will include a demonstration of their custom-built fluid bed roaster (a unique process that few roasters use) and enjoy a delicious sample of one of their nine coffee varieties. We will also tour the 1820 Colonel Benjamin Stephenson House that links Edwardsville to the earliest days of the Illinois Territory. Next, enjoy a 3-course lunch at Bella Milano. Following lunch we will tour the iconic Wildey Theatre that first opened as an opera house in 1909 and ended as a movie theatre. Here we will take a guided tour of the theatre and learn how to make their legendary popcorn! A local expert will join us for a step-on guided bus tour as we visit the Leclaire Neighborhood, travel the Route 66 trail to historic Saint Louis Street and complete the tour with a scenic drive through the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Travel Back in Time in Collinsville
Travel back in time with us to a civilization that was born over 1,000 years ago on the Mississippi plains in what is now known as the city of Collinsville, IL. Stroll through parts of the 2,200 acres of Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Historical Landmark. Visit the interpretative center to view the “City of the Sun” video and see scenes of what life may have been like during the time of the Mississippians. A delicious buffet style lunch will follow at Ravanelli’s. After lunch, we’ll travel back to the 1940s farm life with a guided tour of Willoughby Heritage Farm, complete with tractors, barns, a 1930s Craftsman-style Farm House and live donkeys, steers, chickens and goats! The 30 acres of wildlife preserve features vistas overlooking the bluff line prairie and woodlands of the American Bottom. Cost includes transportation, tours and lunch.

**Get your Kicks on Route 66
Travel along the Mother Road with us in historic Carlinville, IL. We will take a guided tour of the Renaissance Revival masterpiece, Macoupin County Courthouse, that boasts an exterior constructed from gold-colored stone blocks and an elaborate inside with beautiful woodwork and ornately decorate rooms. We will also tour the historic County Jail which placed leftover Civil War cannonballs in the walls to stop jailbreaks. Any Route 66 itinerary should include a stop at Doc’s Soda Fountain, started in 1884 as Deck’s Drug Store and named one of the best soda fountains in the U.S. by Country Living Magazine. We will enjoy a delicious lunch here before making our way to Henry’s Rabbit Ranch, home of the hopping kind and the VW (Volkswagen) kind! Explore the classic filling station with highway and trucking memorabilia and pick up a Route 66 collectible. Our last stop of the day will be to the Pink Elephant Antique Mall for some free time to search for Route 66 treasures. Cost includes transportation, tours and lunch. And we’re off to the races again! Join us as we make our way to Fairmount Park in Collinsville, IL. Experience this popular destination as we enjoy the excitement of thoroughbred horse racing. Enjoy the race from an air conditioned area with tables that are up against a glass window offering you a great view with comfort! We will also provide you with racing forms. Boats, Blues and Barbecue with Grafton River Adventures

Effingham Highlights
Explore the city of Effingham, IL with us. Our first stop of the day will be to My Garage Museum, where we will view a collection of rare and unique automobiles including Corvettes and Volkswagens and other memorabilia. Lunch will follow at the award winning Firefly Grill. This unique and eco-friendly restaurant is a dining experience you won’t want to miss out on! Next stop will be to the John Boos Factory Showroom and Outlet, known for their Boos Block kitchen equipment including their American made butcher blocks. Their well crafted products are used by famous culinary chefs and restaurants and also seen on popular television cooking shows. We will then head to the Teutopolis Monastery Museum. This former Monastery built in 1858 is now a museum known for its collection of articles and books used by the Franciscan Friars during the novitiate year. The tour also includes the Mausoleum and St. Francis Church with stained glass windows which depict certain events in the life of St. Francis. Our last stop will be to The Cross at the Crossroads, America’s largest cross that reaches 198 feet in height. Cost includes transportation, tours and lunch.

Grafton River Road Tour
We’re headed to Grafton, IL for a fun filled day! First we will visit the Treehouse Wildlife Center, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. Here we will take a guided tour of the indoor education center and observe the outdoor resident animals including bald eagles, hawks, turkey, vultures, pelicans, foxes and more! Next we will soar over the Mississippi Bluffs on the brand-new Grafton Sky Tour to Aerie’s Resort and Winery. At the top, enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. Explore the resort gift shops and stores and grab a drink on the expansive deck and beer garden before enjoying a delicious lunch. Finally we will escape back to the 1800s as we visit Village of Elsah, where time stood still. FITNESS PROGRAMS TAI CHI FITNESS
This program is designed to be a safe and effective exercise for a wide range of ages and conditions including arthritis. It uses the Sun Style of Tai Chi with its Qigong exercise to benefit balance, flexibility, mobility, coordination, management of arthritis and health in general.
Tai Chi Level 1: Designed for beginners or those in the early stages of practicing Tai Chi. No previous experience necessary. Tai Chi Level 2: For intermediate Tai Chi participants who have taken at least two sessions of Tai Chi Level 1.

This class is designed to target the entire body! With a combination of cardio exercises and strength training, you will strengthen your muscles and enhance agility.
