Our Mission
Founded in 1947, St. Martin’s is a coeducational, independent school that provides students from 8 weeks to grade 12 with a college preparatory education focused on development of the whole person. Students and faculty embrace the school’s motto, “Faith, Scholarship, and Service.”
St. Martin’s Episcopal School is celebrating 75 years of preparing students to thrive in college, and in life, through faith, scholarship and service. St. Martin’s embraces inclusivity and ensures all students have the opportunity to lead and learn within, and outside of, the StM community. Everyone is welcome to excel at St. Martin’s.
St. Martin’s Athletic Department seeks to provide an environment which offers opportunities for success and character-building to all of our athletes. Athletics can play an integral part in the development of well-rounded students. Student-athletes typically develop a sense of pride, self-esteem, teamwork, and commitment; these are traits that may not be produced in the classroom alone.

WELCOME TO SAINTS COUNTRY
Letter from the St. Martin’s Episcopal Interim Head of School:
Dear Saints fans,
I love that we generate this program. Its existence and its quality promote school spirit, and the people who sponsor ads say a great deal about athletics at St. Martin’s Episcopal School. Thanks to all of these supporters of Saints teams.
Our school’s wonderfully storied history involves not only championships, but also individual athletes who have taken their experiences from StM to the collegiate level and beyond. All of our athletes make us proud for their efforts and their attitudes, and our fans make us proud also. You are reading this because you are a Saints fan. We appreciate your support! Our players benefit so much from your enthusiasm.
In that enthusiasm, I remind everyone of our desire to model the best possible sportsmanship. We respect our opponents, and we trust that our referees are doing their best. Our school’s commitment to sportsmanship has evolved from our cherished core values, and it mirrors our commitment to performance. We should always be aiming high. Whether winning or losing, getting the calls in favor or not, we strive to be the most respectful fans possible.
Thanks for your support of our teams and athletes. It’s going to be a great year!
Sincerely,
Ford Jones Dieth, Jr. ’89 Interim Head of School

WELCOME
Letter from the St. Martin’s Episcopal School Athletic Director: Dear families and friends, Welcome to the campus of St. Martin’s Episcopal School. We are thrilled that another exciting year of St. Martin’s athletics has begun.
Here at St. Martin’s and around the nation, high school athletes have been working hard to prepare for another season of competition. Athletics at any level can generate excitement, but there is something special about high school sports. What takes the excitement to another level? Maybe it’s the lasting friendships that are formed, or the life lessons and sportsmanship learned from coaches, or the community support from
caring parents, students, and friends. All I know is that the memories created because of high school athletic participation are enduring and cherished.
Please remember that competition produces strong emotions for student-athletes and fans alike. Channeling these feelings in positive directions will help ensure fair play and sportsmanship. All competitors are trying to achieve their goal of winning, but it is important to learn along the way that respect for opponents, good character, and honor are qualities that create solid citizens.

BOOSTER CLUB
Letter from the St. Martin’s Episcopal School Booster Club President:
On behalf of the St. Martin’s Episcopal School Booster Club, I would like to welcome you to the 2022-23 school year. The goal of St. Martin’s Booster Club is to create, build, and foster a strong and active community that will inspire and enhance all of our athletic programs. This group of individuals will participate in collaborative community-building activities and fundraising to meet the needs of our athletes and coaches, and to enrich their teams. The supplemental financial support our Booster Club receives through membership dues, spirit wear sales, and special fundraising activities provides opportunities for the Booster Club to purchase additional resources and equipment for St. Martin’s students and staff.
The members of the Booster Club will promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and a positive school spirit in our students and community while maintaining the valuable history and traditions of St. Martin’s athletic program. St. Martin’s Booster Club membership is now open to all families, staff, and the community. We would like to thank those that have supported us in the past and ask you to please do so in the future. For new St. Martin’s families, your membership is critical to the continued success of the program.
On behalf of the St. Martin’s Booster Club, I am extremely excited for the 2022-23 Booster Club year. We have seen the positive impact students have experienced through St. Martin’s sports and friendships built during the season.
