STAGEC O FRANCE

Stageco played a stylish role in October when, at the end of Paris Fashion Week’s Spring-Summer 2022 season, it worked on a special tribute to renowned Israeli designer Alber Elbaz, who tragically died at the age of 59 from COVID-19 last April, just four months after launching his AZ Factory brand.

Working day and night under Stageco crew chiefs John Claessens and Seb Kotsch, two teams each consisting of 20 individuals were present at the Carreau du Temple to conduct the 24-hour construction of a stage set formed of black scaffolding stage, as well as the audience grandstands.

Themed Love Brings Love, the show brought Paris Fashion Week to a poignant close on October 5th, as 45 couture houses and Elbaz’s design team at AZ Factory came together in celebration of the life, talent, personality and sartorial legacy of the revered designer, whose esteemed career spanned three decades.

Stageco was also delighted to build a variety of structures for other clients during September’s fashion season. They included About You (Berlin), Moncler (Milan), Givenchy (Paris) and Hermes (Paris).

Tom Bilsen was Stageco’s project manager on all of these events.
