HOTTY
Dynique Votor 20, Arima
What are three things you like about yourself and why? Well, I like my eyes and the Chinese heritage I got them from. I like my butt, because of its “JLo’ness” My personality is also one of my best assets.
What is your OMG moment?
Well, yesterday when I passed by this bar I saw myself in a Carib poster plastered all around the walls. It was really great to see myself like that.

I love him
Ever since I saw him I was in love. We have been friends for around a year now and we meet every once in a while. We text each other a lot. I have never felt so strongly about someone. He is just amazing. I want to tell him how I feel, but don’t want to ruin our whole friendship.
Death I absolutely couldn’t care less if I were to die tomorrow. I don’t think I would ever kill myself but I see zero point to living. I would welcome death.
I still love my ex-boyfriend. He dumped me, brutally, but at this moment, right here, right now, I wish he were here with me.
Love to
tease
I love wearing short skirts and pretending I don’t know I have a lot of leg showing. I love the way that gives me power over guys who trip over themselves to get a peek up my skirt. God I love to tease men like that.
What if? My girlfriend lives about two hours away from me and there’s this guy who lives like 10 minutes from her that she just befriended. The other night I was talking to her and she said she was texting Jonathan... and she was sorry she couldn’t get back to me sooner... Ever since she has been acting weird... she knows I love her to pieces and I wouldn’t do anything to hurt our relationship, but she on the other hand might be doing something that goes against everything she promised.
The sexiest people are of mixed race
I want my My brother-in-law fiancé to I think people who are mixed-race are the most beautiful people. They’re so sexy!
I just can’t stop thinking about him. We got together a few years ago and it was the best sex ever. Now that we live near each other again we can’t get enough of each other and we meet up whenever possible. It can’t go on forever, but till then I will enjoy every incredible second!
fatten me up
I have a deep fantasy that I wish to fulfill. I want my fiancé to feed me and fatten me to her desire...I have told her up front although she still doesn’t think it’s true. I wish she could fatten me like I desire.

Navigate Valentine’s Day
early in a relationship
STEP 1 Gauge their reaction
Before Valentine’s Day, determine how you feel about the person you’re dating. Whether you’re itching for a serious relationship and don’t want to scare the other person off, or you’re more interested in something casual and don’t want to send the wrong signals, keeping the holiday light and easy is key.
TIP – If you’re unsure about the relationship altogether, avert disaster by making other plans, or conveniently being out of town on February 14. STEP 2 Careful where you go
into your conversation. Terms like “love,” “wedding,” “babies,” and “prenup” can lead to an uncomfortable moment.
STEP 4 Poke fun
Use comedy to cope with the possible awkwardness. Making fun of over-the-top Valentine’s traditions can help reduce the pressure and overcome the stereotypes of the holiday.
STEP 5 Give appropriate gifts
Don’t overspend. A wildly extravagant outing or gift can give the wrong idea. Skip the cliches, too. Keep it thoughtful and personal. Men: Never offer your Valentine a gift that’s enclosed in anything resembling a ring box. (Unless it’s a diamond ring.)
STEP 6 Make it a group date
Invite a low-key friend and their date, and hit the town as a foursome. A fun group dynamic can help ease tension.
Be careful where you take your date. Candlelit tables, chocolate fondue, and men proposing in every direction – can you say awkward? Choose wisely.
STEP 3 Stay away from buzz words
Refrain from slipping Valentine buzz words
Date like a man STEP 1- Make the first move
Don’t wait for a man you’re interested in to approach you -- strike up a conversation with him. Women who make the first move have up to a 90 per cent success rate.
STEP 2- Play the field
Play the field, even if you’ve met someone you really like. To date like a man, you must operate on the assumption that there might be someone even better out there – at least until you’ve had enough time to know for sure that there isn’t.
STEP 3- Cool it
Chill out! Don’t view every person you date as a potential life partner. Focus on having fun, not finding true love.
STEP 4- Go slow
Don’t invest too much of yourself early in a relationship. Save the personal sacrifices and grand gestures for when he’s earned them. Don’t introduce a guy to your family until he’s taken you to meet his.
STEP 5- Keep your options open
Resist making plans with a man too far in advance, and don’t try to book him for holidays or pin him down to vacations too early in the romance.
STEP 6- Don’t settle down too soon
Don’t settle down until you have the education and experience to take care of yourself. Men often like to wait until their career is established and they’re financially stable before they get serious with someone, and that’s a good plan for women, too.

trilla Kerwin Prescott, also known as “Trilla”, is a dynamic entertainer specialising in singing, songwriting and performing. Born in Point Fortin, Trinidad and Tobago, on December 22, 1980, Kerwin and his family moved to Laventille where he grew up and still lives.
The second child of four sons, Kerwin from a young age was always known as the spontaneous one in the bunch. He quickly got involved in the performing arts, performing in his school choir and in school plays. Upon entering secondary school - Belmont Junior Secondary - Kerwin was exposed to a lot of hip-hop and dancehall music. Artistes like Busta Rhymes, Beenie Man, Notorious BIG, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tupac Shakur were some of the most profound influences on his musical career. Moving on to Barataria Senior Comprehensive, Kerwin became more involved in lyrical battles. Yearning to take his talent to a wider audience, he hooked up with his brother Kylon Prescott and they formed the group Fearless. Fearless Crew recorded their first track, “Pace”, with popular local producer Sheldon Benjamin also known as ShellShock. The soca track was released for the 2001 Carnival and was well received by the public. Fearless performed at “Youth fete”, “Coca Cola School Tour”, “The Anchorage Road Fete” and “Wet Fete” to name a few. The group performed with bands like “Traffic”, “Roy Cape All Stars”, “Invasion” and “Sensation” (now known as “Asylum”). With soca as a base, Kerwin experimented successfully with a fusion of hiphop, dancehall and soca in his songs. The new style and lyrical flow produced a very highenergy, powerful delivery, so much so that his peers nicknamed him “Trilla” as a result of being true + real = trill others say Too Real = trilla Trilla is when you’re hustlin, trill is when you’re grindin Trilla is when you punch in that clock overtimin Trilla is when you keep it real one hundred percent

The OMG team was very thrilled that soca legend SuperBlue invited us to his home in Diego Martin, where we sat down for a chat to find out how this eighttime Road March winner and five-time Soca Monarch title holder is feeling about his return to competition after staying away for over 13 years. Everyone is so happy to see you Blue. How does that feel? Boy, I so happy to see them, I feel the love, every day everywhere, I feeling the love. Words can’t express how I feel today. No dictionary has the words to tell you how this feels and how much this means to me. I seeing little babies shouting “Blue” and I know that had to be love passed down from the generations to these children. What can I say... I just trying to make sure I prepare something magical for them, so that when they go home after the show, they have something in their hearts to remember me by, something they feel proud of.
BLUE BOY Soca Baptist

Super Blue & The Love Band FANTASTIC FRIDAY
What about the competition? Twenty years ago we planted the seeds for this Soca Monarch Competition and I was instrumental in the whole thing. When I rock back these past few years and seeing so many youths coming out and expressing themselves... Fortunately or unfortunately we have to compete, because it is a competition, but it is also a stage to vent, so I feel great to be back to bring my new input and to be documented as the man who brought about the “Socafication of this Nation”. Trinidad and Tobago, we must thank God our Lord for Garfield Blackman, Ras Shorty I, for that soca vision, that stroke of genius that has blossomed into this great soca platform we see today. How was it, producing a song now, compared to the old days? Boy the technology now gives you so many options, it makes it so much easier. Long time you needed a whole band to come together to do a song. Now with one man and a computer, you can create anything.
But you could get lost in the technology. At the same time you have to be careful because you don’t want to lose your human quality that creates the feeling and energy in a song. But you know what? I’m back and I’m happy! We see Machel throwing down some fighting words for the competition. How do you feel about that? (Chuckling) With competition you have to be prepared and I am just going to showcase what I do best, hoping I can show something or demonstrate something. It is more like a demonstration to the younger ones how it must be done. They need to look and learn. What caused SuperBlue to come back into the limelight? Boy there is a joy in Trinidad that has been left untapped for a while. We missing that joy. You know the kind of joy when the whole nation cheering? I feel we missing it. So I said to myself “Super, you have to come back, there is a joy in Trinidad that is needed”. We are a happy people. We are fortunate that on this side of Planet Earth we had no real disasters and we had the opportunity to see great people in our lifetime, Muhammad Ali, Elvis Presley, Michael Jordan, Usain Bolt, Penny, Hasely Crawford, Wendy, Keshorn, Njisane, Roger Gibbon, so many, so many to be proud of. When Keshorn won this thing (the Olympic gold medal) and I saw how much joy he brought to this nation, I said, “wow, it eh done dey”. So on New Year’s Day I released this song and now it is heading down to a world stage, Soca Monarch. The biggest stage in the world is Carnival, we have that, and on the mother stage, the Queen’s Park Savannah, one of the biggest roundabouts in the world. Tell me something that people don’t know about Blue? I’m a peaceful and simple man… I’m not more special than anybody. I feel that everybody is a VIP, every single person. This is why my music never has any colour or race barrier. Once you have a heart and a soul, you will feel my music. Soca music is the most joyful music in the world and I come here to do my part to demonstrate

STORY CONTINUES FROM PAGE 16 that to the world. It have no maybe and perhaps, it is a miracle rhythm. Even chutney. We have so much here in this land, it is easy to take it for granted. When you talking rhythm, the most amount of rhythm you will hear is Jouvert morning. From people feet chipping, chip, chip, chip. The steelband music comes from that. My mother used to say, there is music on the earth but only for those who observe and listen. How do you feel about Carnival? The people of Trinidad and Tobago have given the word “Carnival” a more special and colourful meaning. Carnival represents us, who we are. It is a noun, an adjective, a verb and the plural of it is us. I believe when you open the dictionary and look for Carnival you should see Trinidad and Tobago. Carnival is a festival of food, colour, art, music and each one of them could be a festival unto itself, a totally untapped opportunity for us to build this country on. Under our flag we have all these very unique ingredients that make us who we are. We have problems too, just like all the countries of the world. But our problems are small, real small, and thank God it is nothing that we cannot fix, if we really put our mind to it. I feel fortunate I was able to bounce shoulders and walk this piece of earth with people like Stalin, Shadow, Sparrow, Boogsie Sharpe, Ray Holman…. to get a crop again like that, that breeze eh go blow again… so we are fortunate and we take it for granted too much. When Carnival finish each year, we need to get together a package of our geniuses and send them around the world. There are over 500 music festivals around the world and we need to share it, let the world feel our spirit and rhythm. How do you feel today? I feel in life every day is a good day. When you wake up in the morning and God open your eyes... Is God that open your eyes, you know that? Is nobody else. Tomorrow is not promised, yesterday was history, tomorrow is the mystery but today is the gift. Once you wake up and breathe, is another chance to succeed. Where there is life there is hope, so never underestimate anybody. What is SuperBlue’s OMG moment? I am 56 years old and I recorded my first song, “Soca Baptist”, at the age of 24 in 1980. I don’t know what, or where, I would have been without the Lord intervening and making that song and also this one, “The Bouncing Start”, happened to me. Both songs were released on New Year’s Day. I asked God to guide me. I depend on the Lord’s guidance all the time and he guided me right. I look out for his signs and guidance all the time.

From the age of 17 while attending Trinity College, James Hackett has always followed his passion for art and drawing. Shortly after finishing sixth form he went to the Express newspapers and asked for work and secured his first job, working on one of the country’s first and most popular youth magazines, VOX. He started off as an illustrator, and then he did sub-editing. After doing that for a while he moved on and exhibited his work locally and in the US. Still anxious to explore all aspects of his creativity he worked in all areas of the creative industry, from being a regular illustrator for Caribbean Beat Magazine, to involvement in Carnival, to working at advertising agencies. His next step was joining the fashion programme at UTT. It was a great experience for him and he got great reviews as a member of the first graduating class. His illustrating skills helped in the designing of his garments and he got high marks in this area. James is getting ready to do his first fashion show outside of school. His show will be called “The Lush Kingdom” and was inspired by his recent move to the
East. He was struck by how lush Trinidad really is (he has lived most of his life in the city). “The Lush Kingdom” will tell the fashion story of a warrior princess in exile who found a tropical paradise. She will rise from rags to riches and rule the new land. The story will be told in fashion pieces that will take the audience through different types of garments, from street wear to high fashion wear. This fashion initiative will draw on all of James’ experiences in the creative industry. This year there were four elements he wanted to focus on – fashion, illustration, design and rapso. He took some of the rapso artistes that he liked and started doing illustrations of

them based on their stage presence, like Ozzy Merique who calls himself the Electric Mongrel. When the 3Canal show came up he got involved in designing the look of their posters and marketing graphics. You can see more of James’ work on Facebook which we have a link to below. https://www.facebook. com/shazadahluke James’ OMG moment must be that he was able to go back to school and get a bachelor’s degree even while putting together a fashion line. Being the first in his immediate family to earn a degree (neither of his parents finished secondary school) was an achievement that made him, his parents and grandparents proud.

Shaunna Downey 18, Tunapuna
Shaunna is a shot-put and discus athlete who is a member of the Burnley athletic club in Tacarigua. She trains almost every day and has been in the sport for four years now. She has represented Trinidad and Tobago in the Carifta and Pan American Games and won her first gold medal in 2010 in the Carifta Games held in the Cayman Islands. Among world youth athletes Shaunna ranks a stunning 17th. Her training includes two days in the field and three days in the gym for strength. She is six feet two inches tall and is a very pleasant young lady to be around. The persons who introduced Shaunna to shot-put and discus were Mr Prime at El Dorado East Secondary and coach Joyce Thomas. She tried them and loved them and they have been her passion ever since. Shaunna’s first big win came one year after starting when she went to the Carifta Games. She says she will be putting all her energy into training and competing for the next few years and will see where it takes her. Shaunna says her friends find her funny and she loves to laugh a lot. When asked about her favourite past-time Shaunna says it has to be throwing. She really loves the sport and getting better at it every day is her obsession. She loves teddy bears and chocolates and likes to travel, now that she has gotten over her fears. She loves it and has travelled to many places like the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Pennsylvania, Florida, France, England and Panama, to name a few. Her favourite place so far is France because the people there are so friendly and gracious. She says in the future she would like to get a scholarship to further her training. Her career will be something dealing with sports. Shaunna’s OMG moment was when she represented Trinidad and Tobago at the Carifta Games and won her first gold medal. She says standing on that podium, hearing the national anthem play for her achievement, the feeling was like no other. She was just 16 at the time.

Celina Jaitly dons a bikini for the international film
Love Has No Language The mother of twin babies flaunts her sexy body absolutely unapologetically in her forthcoming venture! The only time we got curious, while watching the promo of what can be called a Hollywood flick titled Love Has No Language, was when we spotted B-town babe Celina Jaitly in it. The 31-year-old actor, the mother of twins, is certainly the star attraction of this ho-hum-looking drama. Directed by a certain Ken Khan, this movie stars Ben Mitchell, Rati Agnihotri, Colin Mathura
Jeffrey and Kiran Kumar. Going by the trailer, this production looks like a slice of life drama in which an Indian girl (Celina) who is settled in New Zealand with her family, falls in love with a Kiwi guy (Ben). She then tries to change him to make him look impressive to her family, so that they can approve him for marriage. Honestly speaking, the promo is slick, even stylish, but far from impressive. The best part though is Celina will be seen wearing a bikini after a long time in this film. Perhaps that feature alone could be an undeniable USP of this movie. Check out the promo and tell us what you think about it! http://youtu.be/PygVKlmCTMA

JJ Abrams not committed to Star Wars 2015
release date
Leonardo DiCaprio
Why Leo DiCaprio will still make big money, despite taking a ‘long, long break’ from movies
A-list dollars have a habit of disappearing as soon as they show up in a star’s bank account. Thanks to big pay cheques and even bigger back-end deals, the Titanic star may technically never have to work again... but he actually does, if he wants to keep himself in yachts and supermodels. Just how much is a Leonardo DiCaprio-level star making just sitting around being amazing? Or, as Leo put it, taking “a long, long break?” The numbers… they are obscene: First, know this: Most stars don’’t survive on residuals, the relatively small amount of ongoing pay dictated by the Screen Actors Guild. “I’ve seen residual cheques that are $40,000 for a first-time payment, all the way down to a cheque from an episode of Saturday Night Live done 20 years ago, and that amount was 23 cents,” celebrity accountant Andrew B. Blackman of the firm Schulman Lobel tells me. Instead, most of the cash flowing into a DiCaprio-style bank account comes from “participation” deals – money skimmed off of box-office gross or profit. And that can amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year...or more. Just how much are we talking? Well, put it this way: One Oscar-winning Hollywood writer pulls in
roughly $250,000 a year, just from participation deals from his decades-long career. And he isn’t even an on-screen talent. DiCaprio is said to have made $59 million from Inception alone, thanks to salary, back-end pay and a cut from DVDs and rentals. Then there are the box-office bonuses. Even second-tier stars can score those these days: We’re talking six or seven figures, automatically paid, once a star’s film hits a certain number at the box office. DiCaprio’s films from the past two years include, among others, Django Unchained, which is close to hitting $140 million in US box office; Inception, which raked in $293 million; and Shutter Island, which grossed $128 million. Supposing that the actor scored a million-dollar box office bonus for each flick? Well within imagination and probably a conservative figure – that’s another $3 million in icing that the actor has banked since 2010. And we haven’t even gotten to the eight-figure salaries that DiCaprio scored in the early aughts, when he was charging $20 million apiece for The Aviator, Catch Me If You Can, The Departed or Blood Diamond. If he’s smart, he’s invested a piece of that cash and is living on at least some of the interest. In other words, fret not for Leo. He may be facing a life of joblessness for the next few years, but for an A-lister, joblessness never equals homelessness.
As you know JJ Abrams is officially set to direct Star Wars: Episode VII! We now know for a fact that the next Star Wars movie is going to be great. But it sounds like we might have to wait a little bit longer to see it, because even though Abrams is committed to the film, he’s not committed to the released date of 2015. There’s a chance that date could change during the development process. Abrams just wants to do the movie right and if takes him more time to do so, then he’s going to take it. In the end, we’ve already waited this long for a new Star Wars film to happen, and at one point we didn’t think it would happen at all! I’m sure it won’t hurt us to wait just a little longer for a great movie. Abrams initially didn’t want the directing gig, but Lucas film president Kathleen Kennedy met with Abrams and convinced him to do it. Obviously Abrams liked her pitch, otherwise he wouldn’t have signed on. Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3) has been writing the script for the film since October, and we can’t wait to see what this team of talented people ends up giving us! Regardless of how bad the last Star Wars films were, this is sure to be way more awesome.
Chicken Thieves
Dewayne Patterson, Renaldo Jackson stole $65,000 in chicken wings amid shortage: cops
warehouse pallets of frozen wings from Nordic Cold Storage in Lawrenceville, WSB-TV reports.
The War of the Wings has begun. Two storage workers in Georgia are accused of stealing $65,000 worth of frozen chicken wings amid a high nationwide demand for the delicious Super Bowl snack. Dewayne Patterson, 35, and Renaldo Jackson, 26, allegedly used a rental truck on January 12 to steal 10
The two allegedly pulled the heist in the middle of the day. Jackson reportedly used a forklift to load the wings while Patterson acted as a lookout. They were arrested on Wednesday and charged with one count of felony theft. They were later released on $2,950 bond. The wings, however, were never found. It’s a theft most fowl because wings are expected to reach record prices during the Super Bowl this year. Chicken farmers argue that feed prices are growing following a higher demand for wings in restaurants, leaving football fans bracing for a shortage.

Kris Humphries turned down Kim Kardashian’s
$10m divorce settlement deal
We didn’t fully realise until today just how angry Kris Humphries was about whole Kim Kardashian divorce drama. How mad, you ask? Mad enough to turn down $10 million. So yeah, that’s pretty mad. According to RadarOnline, Kim offered the Brooklyn Net a $10 million settlement to end the legal stalemate in their divorce. Yes, $10 million. But Kris turned her down, because he’s not out for money, he’s out for some cold courtroom vengeance.
Kris Humphries
“After Kim filed for divorce, she offered Kris a $10 million payoff with the agreement that he would not continue to pursue an annulment to their marriage on the grounds of fraud,” and insider told the website. An annulment is basically the marriage-equivalent of a “freebie oops” card (that’s a thing, right?), which voids a marriage in any spiritual or religious capacity. ”He wants to be able to marry
Man of Steel featuring
Cavill, Crowe and Shannon Thanks to Empire Magazine we’ve got a few new photos and a magazine cover featuring Henry Cavill as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. The images also feature Michael Shannon as General Zod and Russell Crowe as Jor-el. The movie looks visually incredible. I just hope they got the story right this time. We know it’s going to be very different from anything we’ve seen before, and that’s exciting for me. This could end up being epically awesome, let’s hope it

doesn’t end up being an epic fail. The story follows “a young boy who learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.” Man of Steel hits cinemas in 3-D June 14, and it also stars, Kevin Costner as Pa Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy, Harry Lennixas as General Swanwick, Antje Traue as Faora, and Aylet Zurer as Lara Lor-Van.

in a church again, with a clear conscience, when he finds someone special. Kris is deeply religious and he believes that the only way he can do that is if his marriage to Kim is annulled.” There had previously been reports that Kris actually had asked for a huge payout in exchange for a divorce, but the insider claims that this never took place. “That absolutely never happened. Kris has given a sworn declaration that he has never asked Kim for a single dime. The only thing he has asked for, and continues to ask for, is for her to agree to an annulment.” The ex-couple won’t hit up the courts until at least June because of scheduling conflicts, but despite his dragging his feet, Kris is reportedly very anxious to get this over all over with. “Kris wants to move on with his life just as badly as Kim does. He is constantly getting heckled by NBA players and fans, and he just wants to be able to close this disastrous chapter in his life once and for all.”
