HOTTY

Adrian Fortune 25, Santa Flora

Three things you like about yourself and why. My determination to get things started and follow through to the end. My ability to be comfortable speaking to people at all levels, even though I am not a talkative person. My eyes because I get the most compliments about them. Sometimes my stare can make people uncomfortable. Your OMG moment? Three months after I bought my car, the car company had a sale, where they had the exact car I purchased… for a few thousand less. I was like noooo… OMG!

I want her to be with you... if not me I asked you to be my wingman and I said I was calling in all the favours to help me out with this girl. You said yes. In fact you were happy to help me. You asked the girl some questions and meanwhile she and I played eye games. I think everything was going smoothly. I later found out that she liked you. YOU…he guy that I asked to be my wingman. It might be my fault for not making a move, but I must admit that I am not mad. I think this girl is the best thing since sliced bread. You are truly a good friend. You did what I asked you and you told me that she may like you. Fact is I’m okay with that. Maybe I should have put up more of a fight for her, but if that fight involves a friend who could treat her just as good if not better than I could, sometimes the fight isn’t worth it.

My weight loss secret Last year I started working out and watching what I ate. My wife was dumbfounded; I was never motivated to do this before, why now? I told her I was just tired of being flabby. I’m not hugely obese or anything but I could lose 40 or so pounds and look pretty good. She accepted that, helped me along, tried to keep me motivated and encouraged me a lot. She was great. What’s the confession? My actual source of motivation: an attractive co-worker told me if I lost 20 lbs she’d send me pictures of her tits. THAT was my motivation, my ONLY motivation. And you know what? I lost almost 20 lbs...and she went back on her side of the deal. I’m now almost back to where I was in weight. Wife doesn’t get why I just stopped. And she likely never will.

I just had sex with

a girl who

has I piss myself a boyfriend I piss myself. A lot. I’m a teenage girl, and whenever anyone makes me laugh too much, I piss myself … even when I just went to the bathroom. I’ve had to leave school a lot in the middle of the day because of this. My parents know, but I’m still worried. I hate having to worry if it’s going to happen again.... I don’t know what to do.

She’s been in love with me for years and years. I really like her a whole lot as well. She came over last night after texting for a few weeks, and I swore we wouldn’t do anything because I didn’t want to be a home wrecker. Well, after a few drinks I couldn’t help but keep the charm off and we ended up in my bedroom. She was the one who really really wanted to. I don’t know what’s going to happen next but she’ll probably leave her boyfriend for me and I’m not sure how I feel about that.

A Not So

Happy Home I’ve been with this guy for a few years now, we have a child together and everything. However, ever since the birth of our child, I can’t stand him. I wish he would just leave. Meanwhile, I’ve recently reconnected with my old boss. He’s eight years older, and recently divorced with a child of his own. I feel myself falling in love with him and he feels the same. I don’t want to break up my home, but it is killing me, sleeping in bed with one man when all I can think about is the other.

Thinking about selling my body I’ve got a friend who was poor like me. Then she became a whore and is making lots and lots of money. She has a nice car and apartment and buys whatever she wants. I think she makes easy money and I want that too. So I’m thinking about selling my body and having lots money too. I know I can do this and get rich.

How to know when it’s time to Break Up

There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but you’ve got to make up your mind about splitting up in the first place. These soul-searching tips will help. STEP 1 - Leave an abuser

If you are being physically abused, break it off immediately: It is definitely time to get out.

STEP 2 - Don’t tolerate emotional abuse, either

If your partner spends much of their time belittling you, it is not a healthy relationship.

STEP 3 - Evaluate your spats

If you’ve been fighting lately, think about the substance of your spats. Are they about inconsequential things? Or do you have insurmountable differences in important areas like money, sex, or parenting?

Tip - Be realistic: No relationship can stay in the honeymoon phase forever.

STEP 4 - Ask yourself if you’re still in “like”

Forget about being madly in love, which is a stage of romantic love that’s difficult to sustain. Figure out if you still like your partner.

STEP 5 - Analyze why you’re staying

Think about why you’ve stayed in the relationship this far. Is there real love there, or are you afraid to be alone? Are financial reasons keeping you from moving on? Are you dreading hurting this person’s feelings? None of these are good reasons to stay in a bad relationship.

STEP 6 - Be honest

Ready to pack your bags? Answer one more question: Is it your relationship that’s making you restless, or is it something else? Changing partners won’t make you happy if the person you are really displeased with is yourself.

How to get Laid It’s the reason you were created. You might as well start practicing

STEP 1 - For girls

er-rock star-surgeon/astronaut. Now, get laid. Should you find these topics of conversation inapplicable, continue to step 5.

STEP 2 - For gays

Go ahead and start checking for any signs of encouragement that it would be appropriate for conversation to continue. If you’re getting the green light, suggest reuniting with the woman at a later date.

If you are a female... get laid. If you are a male, proceed to step 2.

If you are a homosexual... get laid. If you are a heterosexual male, proceed to step 3.

STEP 3 - For guys

Locate a woman. Don’t just stand there - manipulate your lips and tongue to create “words,” which, if formed correctly, will put the woman at ease and communicate to her that you are an affable person who knows how to speak.

STEP 4 - Use words

Talk about your massive pectoral muscles, collection of expensive sports cars, or your successful career as a multi-hyphenate firefight-

STEP 5 - Make a date

STEP 6 - Don’t mince words

Convey to the woman in question that you would make an acceptable sexual partner. This can take weeks, months, and even years, so don’t mince words.

STEP 7 - Get laid

Get laid.

STEP 8 - Repeat

HOW

Dealing

TO’S

with people who dominate

conversation

Can’t get a word in? Deal with people who dominate conversations and join in on the talk.

Being smart about saving Putting aside and accumulating money is easier with these strategies STEP 1 - Save for something specific

Jot down a few big ticket items you’d buy if you had the money, and then open a savings account for each of them. Studies indicate that putting aside money is much easier if you are saving it for something specific. Once you’ve saved the money, you may find that you don’t want the item after all.

Tip - Envision your goal as you make the deposit: Researchers have found that the brain gets almost as much pleasure from imagining a purchase as actually making it. STEP 2 - Calculate the interest

Calculate how much money you’ll earn if you put your money in various types of interest-bearing accounts. People often underestimate how fast their savings can grow; crunching the numbers could provide the inspiration you need.

STEP 3 - Have savings automatically deducted

Have savings automatically deducted; experts say it’s one of the most painless ways to save.

Tip - If you get a raise, have the increase added to your automatic savings deduction immediately. STEP 4 - Use a web-based bank

Consider keeping your savings in an online-only bank, where interest rates can be higher, since there are no bricks-and-mortar buildings to maintain.

STEP 5 - Stagger your CDs

If you park money in Certificates of Deposit, do what’s known as “laddering”: Spread money among as many accounts as you can, staggering their maturity dates. That way, all your money doesn’t get stuck in a low-paying CD if interest rates go up, and you lock in the higher rates on some accounts if interest rates take a tumble.

STEP 6 - Keep the minimum in checking

Keep just enough money in your checking account to pay your bills. Even when interest rates are low, it makes no sense to leave money sitting in an account earning nothing.

STEP 1 Ask questions

Ask specific and direct questions to make it hard for verbal people to take the conversation into another direction, and take control.

STEP 2 Acknowledge

Acknowledge the conversation stealer by restating what they said and then invite others to respond.

STEP 3 Ask others

Mention another person’s name other than the dominator and ask that person a question.

STEP 4 Interrupt

Interrupt the conversation dominator and encourage others to share their opinions.

Tip - Gently and politely interrupt the conversation dominator. STEP 5 Move on

State that you have heard their point but it is now time to move on.

STEP 6 Speak privately

If all else fails, speak to the dominant speaker privately and share your concerns.

Fay-Ann Lyons & 5 Miles To Midnight

VOTE HERE! 5 Miles to Midnight Know How to Rock and They Do It Island Style Team OMG wants to encourage our readers to click on the VOTE button on the right and give our boys your nod. They are nominated for an MTV IGGY Award and they need your vote, so just click and spread the Trini joy for the world to enjoy. Atiba Rogers wrote the band’s profile and had the following to say. Leh we max it up! Well, maybe not too much. But if you ever feel like

jamming, tapping your foot and bobbing your head synchronously, then Trinidad has some sweet island vibes for you. There’s something brewing there and it’s not just any ole soca or calypso music. It’s island rock for all you cultured rockers. 5 Miles to Midnight have styled themselves as the pioneers of iRock and though I’ve never heard of rock coming out of Trinidad, I must admit that this flavour of island music is delicious. Formerly known as A Moment of Silence, band members underwent a name change to reflect their

recent change in musical direction. The six-man band has opened for the likes of Maroon 5, Evanescence, Machel Montano and Stephen Marley. They also won the Trinidad & Tobago Anchorage Pop Rock Awards in 2010. These guys need to keep doing whatever they’re doing, because it’s working. Their recent collaboration with soca queen Fay-Ann Lyons on “DIMIT” reveals just how many possibilities there are in this iRock concept. It’s extremely danceable, but you have to do a slow wine.

Stepping into the spotlight Longtime backup singer Blakness is stepping into the spotlight, but not without stirring up controversy in her debut music video. The Virgin Islands songstress (born Emogen Creese) in collaboration with Andrew Bassie Records and Aqua Media released “Insidez” off her self-titled EP. The music video does not hold back, attacking everyone from Queen Elizabeth to Rush Limbaugh.

“Twelve families elude the masses - century after century - through paganism, war mongering, hatred, and idolatry,” Blakness sings.

Shot on-location in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Blakness appears before a classroom giving a fiery lecture about the real “insidez” of some of world’s most powerful figures throughout time.

The video was directed and produced by the award-winning production team, Aqua Media. The track was done by Jamaican producer Andrew “Bassie” Campbell, whose previous credits include Anthony B., Glen Washington, Midnite and many more.

Blakness is no stranger to reggae. Before stepping onto her first solo project, she has backed up many artists including, I-Octane, Perfect Giddimani, and others.

Blakness EP is now available online via iTunes and Amazon.

OMG team met up with Gailann recently and for those of you who are not old enough, Gailann was part of a duo called Gailann and Rocky who had some major hits in the late 90s into the early 2000s like “Look Meh In Meh Eye” and “On The Road”. She was also known as the “Godmother” of the popular Godfather’s Asylum Band. However she has been working towards establishing herself as a solo artiste at home and abroad. In 2005 she did a collaboration with (Cheryl) “Salt” from Salt and Pepper, alongside Benjai – a track titled “Buckle up Yuh Belt”, a hip-hop, soca flavour. Gailann… tell me about your aka, Gail So Gorgeous? The name is meant to sound more hip-hop since I do different genres of music. I love my name. Everyone in the industry knows me as Gailann but travelling and performing in Europe, they had trouble pronouncing my name, so Gail was easier, so I added the “So Gorgeous”, because I don’t want to be sexy or hot. I am a lady, I am a woman, and I am wife material, just saying. I want to be looked at and referred to as “gorgeous”. Gail so gorgeous, darling. What about your Gailann and Rocky days? Wow, that was way back in 1998. I think the name “Gailann and Rocky” stuck in people’s heads. Back then we had great music. We were a household name. At that time, if you saw Gailann you saw Rocky. Even up to this day people still ask “Gailann!! whey Rocky?” – making jokes like that. That would be my next question. Whey Rocky, Gailann? I have not spoken to him in a while, but I know he is part of Spice. Recently he sent me an email saying he has two songs out, but he is into mas-making right now, mas production. So what has Gailann been doing all these years in the business? Well, I’ve been travelling a lot since I left the Asylum band about six years now. I was known as the godmother of that band. I have been travelling throughout the Caribbean, New York, Jamaica, Paris and many of the various states in America. Since I know myself I have been singing R&B and I always put that international twist to the way I sing soca, a kind of R&B soca vibe to the songs I sing. I perform a lot of reggae, dancehall and pop music also.

Darkroom

Tell me about you personally and where you are at right now? To be honest, I am in a place right now where I love my God. Nobody’s perfect. Every day is a learning process and I feel great where I’m at right now. I have a lot of growing to do still. I’m about music and love. I’ve been through a lot as a female in life. Every man’s burden is the heaviest. I know there are people who came through worse things than I have. I have learned a lot, a lot about people and I know that I have a purpose and I’m just here to spread love and joy. I know also that my music will take a spiritual path. It is something I feel I have to do. I want to also focus on the kids, the youths of Trinidad and Tobago and be a positive influence.

Photography and interview | Stephen Doobal

You said you’ve been through a lot as a female in the industry. Can you tell me more about that? Being in the industry, I did come across a few heartless people who wanted to take advantage of me but I just turned away and let them be. I am not a person to go out there and fight with people. My dear grandmother, God rest her soul, always told me not everything you have to argue about. Never argue with a fool. If you have the knowledge to know that getting into something with someone is not going to solve the problem then it makes no sense to waste the time, energy and effort. At least that is how I deal with things. I think I like to just be cool, but people can look at that and think that I am just soft, which is not so. I see and observe everything and this is how I choose to deal with it and then I give them to God. How do you spend your quiet time? I do a lot of me time. Some friends say I am selfish. I am always to myself but it is not that. I think it is because of the many things that I have been through in life that I now feel that I don’t have to be out all the time to enjoy myself. When you are by yourself you have to learn about you and God takes you to a place where you do some soul-searching and to visualise how you want things to be around you. If I did not have that time, I don’t think I would be here today. I also lend my support to friends who need me when they go through their rough times and I have been able to counsel and help many people in times of distress and personal upheaval. What’s in Gailann’s future? I want to be representing my country worldwide. It is not about fame but it is about doing something for my country. I want to be a wife, I want to be happier and share that with someone. I do hair. I used to model and be in the beauty industry, so one of my further goals is to have a beauty salon. Even though I don’t have kids, I love kids and always wanted to have an orphanage where and can love and help kids in need. I want to do my own clothing line. Your OMG moment? Stephen, this is going to be deep, no serious, really deep. I brought this T-shirt in Miami last year and it had the letters OMG on it. My father was a comedian. When I see my dad we would clown around, dance, do all kind of things and just have fun. Sadly he passed away recently. However I went to see him in the hospital, the evening before he passed and he was not responding, he was dying from heart failure. Once I am in his presence he would be happy and start to clown around, but that day he was not responding. I said God, this does not feel right and then I went to his ears and said, “I’m here, don’t you know I’m around?” He opened his eyes and look at my T-shirt and asked what OMG means, so I said it means “Oh My Gosh, like oh my gosh why are you still here in the hospital Dad?” We spent the rest of the evening praying and keeping him company and when I was leaving I was knocking on the glass saying, “Dad I’m leaving now” because before he was not responding, but as I was leaving he opened his eyes and said “OMG”. So when you-all contacted me to come for this interview I was like “Oh My Gosh, how freaky”. So that was my OMG moment guys. Wow, it is what it is.

Monique La Foucade 19, Guayaguayare

Monique is a gifted and talented netball player who started playing in first form at Guayaguayare High School. She was influenced by her older sister who played the game and decided to follow in her footsteps. At the age of 14 she tried out for the National Under-16 team but did not make it. She tried again at 15 and 16 and qualified both times. Netball is something she really enjoys and is grateful for the camaraderie she shares with her teammates. Monique is considered one of the more promising young players. She represented Trinidad and Tobago in Antigua, placing second in the tournament there and third in the tournament in Jamaica. She believes Trinidad and Tobago’s netballers have the talent to become the best in the world, like in the years of Jean Pierre, but we just have to train harder to get there. One of her most memorable moments in playing the game was when she represented Trinidad and Tobago in Jamaica when she was 16. The match was going at a pace, she said. “Everyone was running and playing real hard. The Jamaican team was playing so well, because we had beaten every team in the tournament but in this final match with Jamaica they beat us by 23 points. That was the toughest game in my career, but the team learned a lot and eventually recovered from that experience.” Monique says that she is known for being spontaneous and fun to be around, a little tomboyish at times but with a good energy. She enjoys eating and playing various other sports, fishing at the beach and working in the garden. She is now working towards making the national Under-21 team that will be going to represent Trinidad and Tobago in Scotland. She is also completing her diploma in chemical engineering and will also be pursuing a degree in that discipline. Monique’s OMG moment happened when she went to Canada with her UTT team to play in a tournament there. The tournament was a one-day knockout affair called “Midnight Madness”. There were a lot of games to play with rules changing as the day went on. Their team had made the finals and the organisers announced that they would now allow a guy to be on the team but “we did not want a guy on our team and we played our usual line-up. The guy on the other team played excellent. He was like Jean Pierre on that court, but my team played even better, every single girl on the Trinidad and Tobago team gave it their all and played this really strong team and in the end we were victorious by 15 points. That was my OMG moment. It was a tough match, but we pulled together as a team and did great. OMG!”

Viacom18 spins into regional cinema with Harbhajan Singh Story bollywoodlife

Here’s a line-up of Viacom18 Motion Pictures’ regional films After making Bollywood hits like Gangs of Wasseypur and Kahaani, Viacom18 Motion Pictures is now training it’s sights on regional cinema. The company has announced that it is entering five regional markets. Of interest to cricket enthusiasts will be Smeet Kang’s Bhajji In Problem, starring self-styled Punjab da Superstar Sippy Grewal, with cameos from India discard Harbhajan Singh, Honey Singh of Yo Yo infamy and Akshay Kumar. Perhaps Geeta Basra can be persuaded to play Bhajji’s cameo love interest? Jayesh Muzumdar who is currently Director – Commercial affairs, Viacom18 Motion Pictures will now also be heading the Regional Films Business, reporting in to Chief Operating Officer Vikram Malhotra. Before we reveal details of other films in the Viacom pipeline, here is mindnumbing corporate speak from Sudhanshu Vats, Group CEO, Viacom18: “Foraying into regional cinema is in line with our vision for Viacom18 to have a strong presence in the regional entertainment space – both television as well as films. Geographic and linguistic segmentation is a key component of our growth strategy as we move ahead, and the good news is that we’ve already firmed our plans in five key regional markets. Over the last two years, Viacom18 Motion Pictures has redefined the rules of Hindi cinema, making critically acclaimed films that were commercial successes as well. As we move in to other languages, we hope to replicate our model and success in those markets as well.” Snooze time over children. Look snappy now. The studio’s Tamil and Telugu films are remakes of Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani, both to be directed by Shekhar Kammula and starring erstwhile bombshell Nayantara. Saif Ali Khan’s Go Goa Gone posters:

Scary or plain gross? Story bollywoodlife

The blood dripping, flesh exposing posters of Illuminati Films’ upcoming movie are out. What do you think about it? Like to look at a lady’s back? Here, we have a back that showcases dripping blood, pieces of bones and burnt, rotten flesh. That’s not all. Peeping out from this…errr…graphic back are the stars – Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwary – of Illuminati Films’

upcoming movie Go Goa Gone. Ugh, gross! 8 out of 10 on the gross meter. But that’s not the only poster. There’s another one that features zombie hunter Saif Ali Khan with a gun and a… severed hand. This one wasn’t as impactful because we’re used to watching limbs crawl out of Ramsay movies. Right? On the gross meter we give it…ummm… 4 out of 10. Now while blood and gore are important components of a zombie flick, there’s one more element that made us squirm. And that’s Saif’s blonde hair. Seriously Saifu, why did

you think that will make you pass off as a Russian? Yes, we giggled at that, and looked away so that we don’t have to endure seeing your golden tresses. Anyway, the sole purpose of a zombie movie is to gross its audience out. And Go Goa Gone has done a decent job (yeah, your blonde hair also takes a part of the credit, Saif). Now, we only pray that the acting, songs and the story do not evoke such reactions out of us. Fingers crossed! But while we do that, you tell us, readers: What’s your take on the Go Goa Gone posters? Do they scare you or make you feel gross?

the week Jeremy Paul 30, El Socorro

Jeremy is one of the more sought-after tattoo artists in the country and he has been doing tattoos for over ten years now. Team OMG met up with him at his shop in El Socorro. The place was filled with the laughter and antics of his pride and joy, his four-year-old daughter. Jeremy was an artist first and was always into sketching and painting. He said he started as an airbrush artist but while he did his work people would pass asking to get tattoos done and they would always say no, they don’t do tattoos. He felt that he could fulfill that need those customers had and started doing tattoos for close friends at first. That grew into a solid clientele, with several people on a waiting list. A good friend was his test subject and the first tattoo he did for him was a Celtic Cross with a name in it. He said other friends saw the work and were impressed and wanted tattoos. Their referrals built his business. He says tattooing feels like sketching with a pencil but you just have to remember that it is not paper you are working with but human skin that has feeling and the process can hurt some people more than others. While we were there one of his clients seemed to be having a very painless experience or maybe he was just putting on a brave face! Jeremy says the trick and the art is getting familiar with the medium you are painting on and how it will react to the ink. He feels he has a good understanding of how skin reacts to the ink, so he can work towards getting the result he wants. He says his job is a Sundayto-Sunday affair. He enjoys it and he particularly enjoys doing Japanese-type artwork like Koi fishes and dragons because they have rich textures and challenging backgrounds, but the results are very rewarding. Jeremy wants to have the biggest tattoo shop in the Caribbean and explore the full potential of a professionally run tattoo shop, so people would not have to be on a waiting list. He is now training one of his close friends to join him. They also sell tattoo supplies and will be getting into tattoo removals. His best time is spent with his wife and daughter, just hanging together. He is an easygoing guy who likes to stay away from conflict, noise and confrontation. Jeremy’s OMG moment is the fact that he is a tattoo artist. He says it was not something he was aiming for, or even thought he would be good at. He says because of his Christian upbringing, tattoos were taboo and considered very wrong. So getting into the business was a very spur-of-the-moment decision that worked out for him. His brother helped him get his first tattoo gun while he worked at Guppy’s Gas Station in San Juan. He would do tattoos part-time and work shifts at the gas station. Eventually his clientele grew and he was able to leave the gas station and work full-time on his business. He says he is still very grateful for all the help Ms Guppy gave him because even when he was going to school he was able to work part-time there. So the fact that he grew up to become a tattoo artist is so OMG. He still can’t believe it.

Crash! Tommy Lee’s Trinidad concert flops

With 9 patrons In venue

Dancehall star Tommy Lee Is this the beginning of the end of Tommy Lee demonic movement? Dancehall star Tommy Lee was shaken by his Trinidadian fans over the weekend when only nine people showed up for his concert. The “Uncle Demon” deejay was the headline act on the concert slated for Guaracara Park in Pointe-a-Pierre on March 23. By approximately 2 a.m. promoters “Sparta The Concert” called off the show while staring at an empty venue. The handful of patrons who paid to see the deejay were refunded their admission.

Sources close to the promoters told Urban Islandz they are very disappointed and would not be booking Tommy Lee for another show. “We are very disappointed because we expected a huge turnout and invested heavily in getting the venue up to scratch,” the source said. “We probably will not be booking this artist for another show because clearly it’s all just a hype.” Tommy Lee management could not be reached for a comment, but Bounty Killer’s camp has been having a field day since the news broke.

New doomsday analysis says

Humans are doing better than expected

Predicting the end of the world is a gruesome and somewhat inexact process, but statisticians have been working on this question for years. The estimates until now have been less than encouraging, but a new analysis from physicist Austin Gerig and his colleagues at the University of Oxford gives us reason to hope.

This new paper is based on the position that long-lived civilisations are rare in the universe. If they weren’t, we would probably be living in one. Since we don’t see very old alien civilisations everywhere, the likelihood of survival must be low. Gerig’s approach is mostly dense statistical analysis, but the bottom line is that humanity has a better chance of survival than the Doomsday Argument would have predicted. If we as a species can be proactive, our chances for long term survival are as high as “a few percent.” Yay?

The Doomsday Argument is an idea that holds you can predict the number of humans that will ever exist by the number that have existed thus far. This traditional analysis of humanity’s future works with the assertion that about 70 billion humans have lived on Earth. Probability suggest there is a 95 per cent chance we are among the last 95 per cent of humans that will ever exist. Doing the math, that means 1.4 trillion humans are likely to be born before we go extinct.

Despite the pessimistic vibe of that conclusion, the news is actually fairly good. Going from almost zero chance to a real number is progress. Gerig’s team suggests humanity can improve its odds of long-term existence by minimising existential threats. This might include advanced medical science and technology to divert possible asteroid strikes. Space exploration and colonisation are also important actions if we want to see our society last long into the future.

So where would that 1.4 trillion figure leave civilisation? If we assume the world population tops out at 10 billion, and we have 80-year life spans, Homo sapiens have 10,000 more years. That might sound like a lot, but it’s an evolutionary blink of the eye. The Gerig analysis attempts to estimate the real danger of various existential threats like nuclear war, disease, and cosmic disasters.

It doesn’t just have to be a purely statistical argument for humanity. We’re the first species on the planet with the ability to develop new science to deal with these threats.

Igo Morski Igor Morski is a Polish illustrator and graphic artist with quite a style. I love surreal style artwork and in this post you will see some pieces from his nature collection and also his portrait collection. His work is very detailed and very intriguing like most of surreal work, but his art looks so real it’s almost like a magical photograph.

My Chemical Romance Breakup:

Band Leader Gerard Way Says

Group ‘Is Done, But It Can Never Die’ It looks like the chemistry has faded, and now this romance is over. Popular rock band My Chemical Romance sadly announced through a statement on their website last week that the group has split up after jammin’ out together for more than a decade. “Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing,” they wrote. “We’ve gotten to go places we never knew we would.” “We’ve been able to see and experience things we never imagined possible,” they added. “We’ve shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure.”

Band leader Gerard Way also addressed the breakup on Twitter, by writing, “Beyond any sadness, what I feel the most is pride,” and followed up today with a much lengthier post on the situation, revealing his feelings on the split, hope for the future and gratitude to loyal fans. “We were spectacular. Every show I knew this, every show I felt it with or without external confirmation. There were some clunkers, sometimes our secondhand gear broke, sometimes I had no voice—we were still great. It is this belief that made us who we were, but also many other things, all of them vital. And all of the things that made us great were the very things that were going to end us,” he wrote. “I want to thank every single fan. I have learned from you, maybe more than you think you’ve learned from me,” and closed with, “My Chemical Romance is done. But it can never die. It is alive in me, in the guys, and it is alive inside all of you. I always knew that, and I think you did too.”

Does Kanye West Want To Name His And Kim’s Baby North West? If Kanye West has his way then his baby could end up with a name like North West. If Kanye West has his way then his baby could end up with a name like North West.

“He also has a sense of humour though and knows how his self-indulgence is seen by the general public. It’s half tongue-in-cheek, half what Kanye probably feels is true.”

According to rumours circulating in gossip media circles, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are having a row over baby names.

Kanye West, 35, and girlfriend Kim Kardashian, 32, are expecting their first child together in July. Kim Kardashian is also going through a messy divorce from soon to be ex-husband Kris Humphries.

“Kanye’s ego is something else, so he’s quite serious about the title,” sources told the Sun.

3 Android apps for Wi-Fi calling with Google Voice Enhance your Google Voice experience by using one of these Android apps to make calls over Wi-Fi. Google Voice allows you to give out one number to reach all of the phone numbers you’re using at a given time. The

ability to schedule “quiet time,” and organize contacts into caller groups really make Google Voice a handy service. However, making Wi-Fi or data calls is a feature that has yet to make it to the app. That’s where Android apps like Talkatone, GrooVeIP, and Phone for Google Voice and GTalk come into play.

Using one of these apps will allow you to sign in with your Google Voice number/account and dial calls over a Wi-Fi connection. This can help you shave off some minutes from your wireless talk plan, and in some cases, provide a more stable call connection. While there are other choices in the realm of Android apps, these three are free and a good place to start if you’re not sure Wi-Fi calling is for you.

Talkatone First, you’ll want to install a copy of Talkatone on your Android device. Upon opening the app, you may be prompted to sign in. If not, tap the menu button on your device, then go into the Settings area. Press on the Add Google Account option, then sign in. Note: If you have two-step verification enabled on your Google account, you’ll need to log in to Google through a Web browser and generate an application specific password for Talkatone. This password will need to be entered only once (thankfully). If you want Talkatone to use only Wi-Fi and not 3G/4G data, you’ll need to visit the Connection area of the Settings menu. Here, you’ll find a checkbox for Wi-Fi only. While there are lots of other settings you can tweak, the defaults for nearly everything are a good place to start.

GrooVe IP Lite

Install GrooVeIP Lite on your Android device to get started. This is the free version of GrooVeIP; it is ad-supported and allows only Wi-Fi calling. The paid version is available through Google Play for US$4.99 and also supports making calls on 3G/4G connections. Open the app and tap the Google account you want to use for sign-in, then authorise access for GrooVeIP. If you don’t see the account you want to use listed, just press the manual sign-in button and enter your information. There are some settings you can adjust without upgrading, but starting with the defaults is a solid plan. To make a call, tap on the Phone icon along the top of the app and dial a number. GrooVeIP Lite offers excellent audioadjustment settings to make up for its lack of free 3G/4G without upgrading.

To make a call, tap the phone icon from the main area of the app and dial a number. To remove ads or acquire better call quality, Talkatone offers in-app upgrade purchases. However, it’s recommended that you test it out a bit to make sure it’s fully compatible with your Wi-Fi signal, device, and personal taste before upgrading. This version of Talkatone is a step above the other choices, because it allows 3G/4G calling without requiring an upgrade; but it does sacrifice some of call quality to remain free of cost.

Google Voice and G Talk Start by installing a copy of Phone for Google Voice and GTalk on your Android device. This version is ad-supported, and unfortunately, at the present time there is no paid version to remove ads. When you open the app, you’ll be prompted to log-in with your Google account details. To make a call: tap on the round button labelled Keypad and dial a number. You can also choose from Contacts if you don’t know the number by heart. A major drawbacks to using this app over the others is that it doesn’t support 3G/4G calling. However, Phone for Google Voice is a great option if you don’t want too many customisation settings and want to get started with Google Voice Wi-Fi calling immediately.
