Living Our Faith

In today’s gospel, Jesus’ transfiguration provides Peter, James, & John with a glimpse of his divinity. It can seem like a world away and like something that would never happen to any of us. However, we get a glimpse of Jesus’ divinity in every smile, every spring shower, every warm touch and every loving word. Jesus is with us everywhere and always to help us make good decisions in our daily lives. Just as the voice of God instructed that the apostles should listen to Jesus, we, too, should follow the same command. Jesus transfiguration was more than a glimpse of his divinity. It tells us that if there is conflict between doing what he asks of us and doing otherwise, we should follow the Lord.

Viviendo Nuestra Fe
