Living Our Faith
The feast of the Ascension provides some very important news for us. Jesus’s suffering had a purpose. And that purpose was the forgiveness of sins. He gives the apostles instructions that this good news is to be preached in his name to all nations. And to help, he would send the Holy Spirit, the promise of the Father, as and an advocate. We too have this same instruction as Christians, and the same power of the Holy Spirit should we choose to let him work in us and through us. Whether it be in our words, our actions or both, the example we set is a light for Christ to reach those who are struggling. As we approach Pentecost next Sunday, why not spend some extra time with God, thanking him for his gift of the Holy Spirit and asking how he might work through you? May 8, 2016

Viviendo Nuestra Fe
