70th year since the founding of our diocese, Bishop Joe Vásquez has decided to consecrate the local church of the Diocese of Austin to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. On Dec. 10, all priests and people in the diocese are invited to unite in a solemn prayer of consecration to the Mother of God, asking for her maternal help and protection, entrusting ourselves to her loving heart, and asking her to bring us ever closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. For resources and further details, visit www.austindiocese.org/ihmconsecration. ADVENT DAY OF PRAYER | On Tuesday, December 5th, our parish priests will be
on an Advent Day of Prayer with other diocesan priests. There will be a Communion Service at 12 Noon that day, instead of our regularly scheduled Mass, and there will be no confessions at 11:15 a.m. The Spanish Mass at 6:00 p.m. will be held as scheduled. Please keep all our diocesan clergy in your prayers! DECK THE BUSHES!!! Join us on Saturday, December 9th at 9:00 a.m. to “Deck the
Bushes” for Christmas. Meet at the covered sidewalk between the Church and Church Offices. Help us deck out the greenery around the Church in a twinkling wonderland of lights! Lights are provided. We just need your helping hands! Knights of Columbus are providing lunch for the volunteers! ADVENT PENANCE SERVICES will be held on Wednesday, December 13th at
1:30pm and 7:00pm. Please take advantage of the multiple additional priests that we will have available to hear your confession, many of whom will be bilingual.
NO CONFESSIONS OR EVENING MASS will be held on Thursday, December
14th. The regularly scheduled 5pm Confessions and the 6pm Spanish Mass will not be held as there is a Vesper service and Bishop’s dinner for all diocesan priests that evening on campus. THE O ANTIPHONS CONCERT will be Monday, December 18, at 7:30pm in the
Chapel. The St. Louis King’s Choir will be offering a quiet service of meditation and reflection on the ancient songs of the Church. This is a perfect way to begin the week before Christmas, reflecting on the gift of our Savior that is often overlooked in the parties and shopping of the season. Give yourself this spiritual gift, a time of calm amid the chaos leading up to Christmas. DECK THE CHURCH | Thursday, December 21st. Due to the 4th Sunday of Advent
and Christmas Eve being the same day, our Christmas trees will be placed in Church the week of December 18th. All hands are needed that Thursday the 21st, 9:00am, as we decorate the trees in Chapel, Narthex and Main Nave for the Christmas season. Plenty of ornaments for everybody, whether you can climb ladders or prefer keeping your feet on the floor! Come help us “Deck the Halls” for the Christmas season!

TURKEY BINGO WAS A GREAT SUCCESS! Women’s Club thanks everyone who generously donated funds and prize items. Our many volunteers helped put it over the top. CRSP Ministries are grateful for the funds raised by sale of their delicious food. THANK YOU for coming to play bingo with us!
The silver chalices which we use to distribute the Precious Blood have become a little tarnished with time, and we'd like to restore them to their original beauty. Each gift of $45.00 toward our restoration project allows us to restore one chalice. Please consider restoring a chalice as a Christmas gift to the parish! 3
