YOUR ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
made 5 home visits during the week ending on April 25th. We helped 4 families with rent and 1 family with utilities. We also gave out one HEB card and a few bus passes. One recent case was that of a woman who has been out of work due to illness. She is doing better now and plans to find a job, but has fallen behind in her utilities. Because of your support, we were able to pay her utility bill for her. We also encouraged her to visit our food pantry and apply for food stamps until she finds a job. Our volunteers concluded their visit by praying with her. SVDP TRUCK COMING! Cleaning Closets This Summer?
