On November 3-4, St. Louis will join other diocesan parishes in kicking off the annual Catholic Services Appeal for the Diocese of Austin. Thanks to your generosity in last year’s appeal, St. Louis met 114% of its $197,000 goal with amounts pledged and fulfilled by 459 parish donors. Every household is asked to prayerfully consider how you can support the CSA this November. The funds raised will be used specifically for the yearly, operating expenses of the diocese in five areas: 1. CLERGY FORMATION—Supporting ongoing needs of seminarians, active and retired priests and deacons. 2. CATHOLIC EDUCATION—Educating parish catechists and Catholic students

“I strive to instill a growth mindset in my classroom. I want my students to feel that mistakes are learning opportunities. This year I was so proud to watch my kids create amazing classroom community by encouraging each other and building each other up. Having this growth mindset instilled in them so young will give them the wisdom and courage to take chances in life and to not worry as much about the outcome, but to look for room to grow in everything they do.”
