ANNOUNCEMENTS GRATEFUL THANKS to all the pictorial directory

volunteers who helped organize, schedule and host parishioners for photo sessions this summer. From June 3-4 through July 8-9, Donna McClung, Oscar Gonzales and their volunteers scheduled parishioners after all weekend Masses for photo sessions. Then during three weeks in July, we had wonderful parishioners who gave their time, checking in families and manning the reception area during each and every photo session. These volunteers were coordinated by Melissa Fields. Ryan Edgerly and other members of the Pastoral Council have also been extremely supportive in coordinating all aspects of this large project with Life Touch, the company responsible for our directory. This was a team effort and could not have been accomplished without these dedicated parishioners!! Thank you to everyone who gave their time to make this happen! WOMEN OF FAITH is a women's spiritual enrichment

group that explores the feminine genius of being created in God's image. This is a great way for women of all walks of life to meet and share. The evening Women of Faith group will be starting again in the fall. The first meeting will be September 12th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the school library. We will be reading and discussing Four Teresa's by Gina Loehr. Contact Vickie at vicsmailbox@sbcglobal.net for more information.

JESSICA CHAFFEE – DIRECTOR OF ADVANCEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT Jessica Chaffee started her career at St. Louis Catholic School as a teacher. She spent 1 year teaching Pre K and 5 years teaching Kindergarten. During these 6 years, she grew to love the St. Louis Community and is dedicated to advancing its mission to prepare the leaders of tomorrow with the light of Christ as their guide. Jessica believes that development and advancement is a form of ministry. It is a way of making our vision known and inviting others to share in the mission. When we work together with a common vision, sharing the gifts that God has given us in a meaningful way, we are able to develop and advance our mission at St. Louis Catholic School. Jessica is an avid marathon runner and shares her love for running at SLCS by coaching Cross Country and Track and Field as well as organizing an after school running program for students in all grades. Jessica grew up in New Jersey and relocated to Austin with her husband in 2010. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Scranton and a Postgraduate degree in Elementary Education. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and traveling. She has spent time during the past 2 summers on a pilgrimage in Spain, walking the Camino de Santiago (the Way of St. James), a nearly 500 mile route.
