LADIES:

From Sept. 26th-Nov. 4th we will unite with hundreds of cities across the country and world for a simultaneous 40-day prayer vigil. 40 Days for Life is a 40-day campaign of prayer, fasting and a constant peaceful prayer vigil in front of abortion facilities. This international movement has resulted in 70+ abortion facilities closing, over 130 abortion clinic workers having conversions and leaving their jobs, and over 11,700 women choosing life for children they were going to abort. Here in Central Texas at least 234 women have changed their minds and chosen life! Sept. 22-23, please stop by the Coalition for Life booth to find out how you can get involved with this powerful and life-saving movement. You can also find information online at CentralTexasCoalition.com or by calling the Coalition for Life office at (512) 296-2071.

The diocese terms them “missions”, but to the members it’s their parish. All St. Louis women are invited to join Father Tom Frank on a virtual visit to the mission parishes of the diocese. These small communities, without a priest in residence, maintain a vibrant faith as witnessed by the worship spaces they create and maintain. All women of the parish are invited to the Sept 26 meeting in Wozniak Hall; no registration is needed. Refreshments at 7 PM, meeting begins at 7:15 and concludes around 8:45. A reminder that, in support of its affiliation with the Council of Catholic Women, the club is collecting new underwear and socks for victims of domestic abuse. At this meeting we are requesting panties and bras/bralets for tween girls. There will be a signed table for your donations. Clothing the naked is a Corporal Work of Mercy, and many arrive at the shelter with only the clothes on their back.
