JAMBARS FOOTBALL JFC CLUB

OUR BEGINNING J A M B ARS FC

Jambars FC began in the summer of 2014 with a summer soccer academy. The idea was to bring a new style and process to developing youth soccer talent. The coaching team enjoyed tremendous success during this summer session, and thus began laying the foundation for our club, designed and focused on bringing the international standards of training for youth soccer players to the U.S. In the spring of 2015 we fielded our first academy team. They not only dominated the league and tournament schedules, but also won U.S. region 2 for U19. The following year we opened enrollment to ages U9-U19 and Jambars Footbal Club was born. Today we have over 200 dedicated soccer players. Our new complex, Calcio Village, is set to begin construction in the spring of 2019. Our enrollment is projected to triple.

We have created an academy where hope is no longer just hope, but rather an achievable reality. It’s a bold statement for a youth sports organization, but our mission is to provide players with the tools they need to achieve their “next level” goals. Our message is clear — rather than ask “why?” we prefer to ask “why not?” Our curriculum is designed to provide athletes of all ages everything they need to compete at whatever level they aspire to reach. While we can’t guarantee every player a path to placement on a college or professional team, we can provide any player who is willing to put in the work and dedication on and off the field with the tools to excel in any endeavor. It’s about more than soccer training. Developing student athletes involves more than forming teams, collecting fees and playing in weekend leagues. With the goal of providing a path for players to achieve their next level, we educate them broadly, not focusing solely on soccer.

Create the vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and persistently drive it to fruition. We maintain six points of focus in our curriculum. In doing so we PERFORMANCE assure that all of our student athletes benefit from a comprehensive approach to training, learning how to prepare themselves and reach NUTRITION for their next level.

PERSONAL ON THE FIELD YOUTH DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION PSYCHOLOGICAL

Our focus is on education. We consider ourselves teachers rather than coaches, and we strive to be more of an educational program rather than just another activity on the family calendar. Making a difference takes work, and we pride ourselves on this mission.

Key components for success ... MISSION & VISION Our mission and vision are clear: we provide the opportunity and tools for players to reach their maximum potential and achieve the goals that may otherwise just be a dream. STRUCTURE & LEADERSHIP Our structure and leadership is built to support our programs and staff to ensure the tools and processes reach the highest success rate. STAFF DEVELOPMENT Jambars Football Club is dedicated to employing the best teachers and administrators, and continuing their education to ensure quality in our education process. PROGRAMMING Modeled after the success of many European academies, Jambars Football Club’s pro gaming is unique and way out in front of the curve in comparison to American youth systems. FACILITIES & INFRASTRUCTURE Calcio Village is the first of its kind in the U.S. Most soccer facilities are city-based fields designed to accommodate games and recreational programs. Our facility is designed with training in mind, providing a year round experience for our academy athletes.

Our player development philosophy is to create a positive learning environment which gives players the best chance for successful development using selective methods and styles of coaching, while maintaining a supportive atmosphere to guide, excite and energize players. When playing competetive soccer with players from local and regional teams, it is vital to maintain and enhance technical proficiency gained during foundational training. As players progress through age groups we continue to give them more in-depth tactical information and knowledge in terms of team shape, working within units, and position specific work. We help them understand roles and responsibilities within the team. Jambars FC wants all its players to be happy within our environment, allowing them to express themselves and ultimately achieve our aim of having homegrown players at the collegiate and professional level.

OUR

COACHES & J A M B ARS FC

CURRICULUM We provide clear and concise content reinforced with regular communication in field training and classroom exercises. We utilize a range of curriculum tools including articles, video, graphic software, animations and demonstrative techniques. We encourage staff input and feedback, with the aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Curriculum provides coaches with a blueprint to train the right skills at the right age and level.

WE MENTOR ATHLETES BOTH ON AND OFF THE PITCH

The first mission of coaches is to help players with their behavior; the second is to show them how to be good soccer players. Our staff is directed by one coaching authority who provides specific roles and expectations for each coach and trainer at every level. Consistency and continuity are critical to be sure that player development is progressive and cumulative throughout their experience at the academy. Coaches and trainers are placed with teams according to their education and personality, but all teams share the coaching staff as a whole. Players and coaches from strong bonds, and we take great care during transitions.

What parents need to know… We can’t understate the importance of our holistic program. Understanding and embracing our philosophy is paramount to player success in the academy. Family involement is critical in the development process. We are inclusive with our families, educating them to further support the success of each player. We expect a lot of our families, and we provide clear guidelines to our families to ensure their understand of the development path and milestones. We ask that all players, parents and staff adhere to our strict code of conduct, and we offer a concise grievance process established to overcome all issues and concerns. To keep lines of communication open, Jambars Football Club holds preseason clubwide meetings conducted by the director and coaching staff. These gatherings give us a chance to review upcoming season logistics and information, and also provide a great opportunity for our families to socialize. Our culture thrives on unity! As part of our process the coaches and training staff provide regular feedback on player development, mid-season evaluations, conferences and annual surveys in an effort to continually evaluate our club experience.

SUPPORT Training & Competition

SUMMER SESSIONS On The Pitch Jambars provides the top training and player development program in the region, and players compete at the highest level. Teams practice 2-3 times per week, and players gain extra advantage through small group skills and positional training. Players are encouraged to train at the facility in organized sessions and during open field time at the Village.

In The Gym

Athletic Development

Players work with specialized coaches at the Village on soccer-specific training. Sessions focus on speed, agility, fitness and healthy diet. Staff also focus on injury prevention and recovery to ensure player safety.

Classroom

Tactical Seminars and Film Study

At every level our players must have a tactical understanding of the game. Our classroom activities combine lectures, film study and even homework. This study increases player “soccer IQ,” an essential component of the development of high level players. In addition, coaches review and breakdown individual film work with players.

Field signage, team sportswear, clubhouse and field naming rights, and many other opportunities offer unparalleled, long-lasting advertising at rates to fit any marketing budget. Sports field and team sponsorships build brand awareness in a uniquely positive way. Brand-building is a marketer’s full-time pursuit, and sports teams can create or enhance brand awareness by bringing visibility whenever games are played and practices are held. Organic mentions and image visibility occur when team activity is shared through social media by the club, the players, and their spectator families. Photography is also used for club website and advertising, and local news coverage also affords occasional conspicuous visibility.
