CONKERS

If you go down to the woods today, (museum gardens! ), you are sure of a big surprise……and we certainly got one!

We headed out to explore the Storytelling area, that we had spotted last Wednesday during our forest school session, and when we arrived, we couldn’t believe what we found…..sweets, a witch's hat and a book….the story of Hansel and Gretel! After finding clues like left over breadcrumbs, stones, and a mysterious door, we all agreed that the witch must have planted the sweets and was trying to trick us!!

We headed back to the safety of Nursery ready for an exciting afternoon of decorating the witch’s gingerbread house….bashing it down and eating it for snack!

Oh! We mustn't forget all the different animals we have met this week too. Ian's Mobile Farm brought us alpacas, rabbits and a pig, to name a few. Plus, we saw our frogspawn grow into tiny tadpoles and got to hold the chicks that had hatched in the Acorns, sparking plenty of conversation about life cycles!
