Tell us about your role as Racing Carnival Ambassador and what you are most looking forward to: I absolutely love seeing the fashion. It's one of the rare occasions where you can get really frocked up for a day time event and push the boundaries with fashion. Which of the race days most suit your personal style? Fashion Forward (Hardy Brothers Doomben Cup Day). I really love how experimental you can be with this theme – it's how I like to think I am with my own style! Morning must-have for getting race day ready: I always start my morning with a coffee. That’s a must! Which of the carnival events are you most excited for? Definitely the Carnival High Tea on Friday 31st May. Hats or headpieces: I love myself a hat! I always have! I’m also really loving the embellished headbands, I think they’re feminine and classy and you can have a lot of fun with them.

This year’s theme is Bold Colour. What are your top colour picks for the season? I am really excited for this year's autumn winter colouring. Expect to see colours like magenta, blush, cornflower blue, emerald, plums and burgundies on race days.

In your opinion, which Australian personality nails their racing look every time? I always love Jodi Anasta’s race day looks! She nails it every time. What beauty and hair trends are you excited to see on the track? For hair, cool updos or beautiful loose curls paired with a pearl or sparkly hair clip. Makeup will be subtle, focusing on fresh skin and natural tones, or a lip colour that matches your outfit!

Femme, flirty and on-trend florals are always a winning combination where luxe details such as lace, feathers and sophisticated cuts will set you apart from the rest. Fashion faux pas we should all avoid this carnival: Uncomfortable heels and dressing for the wrong season.
If you could style anyone for this event, who would you choose and why? Jesinta Franklin. I love that she takes risks and pushes fashion boundaries. What advice would you give to Fashions on the Field entrants? Keep trends in mind but go with what suits you and what you feel most comfortable and confident in. Monochrome is a classic for winter racing and one of my favourite looks. It can be made to stand out by mixing different textures, prints and
accessories. Consider incorporating a splash of red with your accessories or through beauty products, like a polish and a good quality red lip!
