CP CHINESE I Grades: 9 Utilizing the QTalk program and TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) methods, Chinese I is a highly interactive course designed to provide students with the basic skills necessary for meaningful communication in Chinese. With strong emphasis on speaking and comprehension, students explore the Chinese language through rhymes, poems, movements, role-playing and hands-on activities. Learning is enhanced with cultural references to Chinese geography, customs, traditional games, and Chinese paper-cut art.
