CHELTENHAM TOWN LADIES Today’s opposition Cheltenham Town Ladies have got off to a flying start in this season’s FA Women’s National League South West Division One. After finishing second from bottom in the league last season, Alex Cheal’s side have hit the ground running in 2018/19 with four wins and one draw in the league so far this season. Those results see them breathing down the necks of Keynsham Town Ladies and favourites Southampton Women’s. Cheltenham haven’t been shy in front of goal, putting seven past Brislington and five past Maidenhead among their big wins, before a narrow cup defeat to Cardiff City Ladies two weeks ago.

Last time out In February, former centre-back Charlotte Eastman netted a brace to give Poole Town Ladies a 2-0 win at Petersfield Park. The result tightened the Dolphins grip on fifth place, where they would subsequently finish the 2017/18 season.
