The weather isn’t the only thing that is heating up in Las Vegas. The entertainment scene is as hot as ever thanks to the return of several concert residency favorites and the addition of several stellar music engagements audiences won’t want to miss. Not just one of the Strip’s newest must-see productions, but one of the best residencies to ever grace a Las Vegas stage, “Katy Perry: PLAY” returns to the all-new Resorts World Theatre inside Resorts World Las Vegas select dates March 2 through 19 and May 27 through 29. Told in five acts, the exuberant production takes Perry’s fans (affectionately called KatyCats) on a fun-filled, vibrant romp through the pop superstar’s hits — everything from “I Kissed a Girl” to “When I’m Gone” — as Perry, playing a doll version of herself, goes on a “Toy Story”-esque journey to find happiness. Featuring stunning, larger-than-life sets, jaw-dropping costumes and such memorable moments as Perry interacting with a giant talking face mask, “PLAY” is exactly the type of carefree escape people need right now.
