As winter progresses and temperatures remain low up north, traffic continues to become more congested in

South Florida. Being the tropical state that we are, makes us one of the most popular tourist destinations, not just in our country, but in the world, especially dur-

ing this time of the year. Our year-round warm and consistently sunny climate is a major draw to northerners who wish to escape the brutality of the winter

time cold. But statistics have shown that traffic accidents increase by up to 4.9% during winter time as a result of the weather changes and the

food, drink and plant-based goods coming to The Village Center. The festival, located in the Gulfstream Park Village shopping area, will feature a

main stage for presenters, music, giveaways from merchants, 60+ plant-based vendors, and contests for the kids. The event is family-friendly and free to attend. The 2nd Annual Plant-Based Festival might be the gamechanger that points you in the right direction for your health. “It will be a day of food, drink and fashion that can direct people to live happy, fulfilled lives while making positive contributions to the community,” says Alex Schreer, Director of Experiential Marketing for Madison Marquette who represents Gulfstream Park Village.
