The 24th Annual Symposium on Natural Fitness and Sports hosted by International Chiropractors Association Council on Fitness & Sports Health Science recently took place in Columbus, Ohio and local Hallandale Beach Chiropractor Dr. Joseph A. Amunategui II was awarded the prestigious International Sport Chiropractor of the Year. The Council is dedicated to the promotion of chiropractic principles in the fields of fitness, strength and conditioning as well as the application of chiropractic techniques to enhance sports performance and results. Relay For Life of Hollywood at ArtsPark • City of Hollywood employees, residents, families and businesses Walk to Fight Cancer this Saturday Noon to Midnight HOLLYWOOD - The American Cancer Society’s annual Relay For Life of Hollywood takes place this Saturday, April 16th at the ArtsPark at Young Circle in downtown Hollywood. The opening ceremony kicks off the event at noon and local teams walk continuously until midnight to raise money and awareness in the fight against cancer. Teams are a combination of City of Hollywood employees, residents, cancer survivors, families, social groups, civic and student organizations and businesses that have all been raising money since last year. You don’t have to be part of a team to participate. Everyone is invited to support the fundraising efforts by coming to the relay and visiting the many booths teams have set up to raise money at the event.
