Free Hollywood Community What Is Dry Mouth Tree Workshop on Saturday (Xerostomia) & Causes
HOLLYWOOD - The City of Hollywood is celebrating 36 years as a Tree City USA! The City of Hollywood takes great pride in this recognition honoring its commitment to community forestry. The City is inviting residents to participate in a free, interactive workshop on Saturday, April 9th to learn how to continue to enhance the City’s street tree canopy and improve their homes and neighborhoods. Xerostomia is a medical term used for dry mouth due to lack of saliva - there is not enough saliva to keep the mouth wet; there is reduced or absent saliva flow. It is also informally known as pasties, cotton mouth,drooth, doughmouth or des (from desert). It is usually a subjective complaint the patient complains about it and subsequently sees the doctor.
